He rarely tested us. Follow his assignments and instructions and you will get a good grade. Our final exam was just a review paper on our favorite piece of art. Very easy class although his lectures can be a bit boring. Dont use your phone either.

Professor Peck is great professor who truly cares about his students. He very detail about his assignments but once you follow the instructions you will definately pass his class.

Professor was very unaware of the fact that nobody cared about his class. Should be teaching high school instead. Isnt able to teach a normal college class, very tedious class and was annoying about exact formatting for assignments. Would NEVER take again. Not trying to be mean, I just genuinely didnt like this class.

Weak class. Professor doesn't give out clear instructions and wastes time... A LOT. There was a point where half the class he was talking about the weather and we learned nothing, sounds easy but when you are trying to understand how to write the essays it's terrible. Trust me there are better professors out there to take just pick another one.

This Professor is primitive. The homework format is ancient and tedious (Front side of pages only and double spaced WRITING). Also, integration with technology in this course does not exist. His grading method is terrible and he never updates grades. Do not take this professor I'm not a hater I'm just trying to save you please don't just trust me

Professor Peck is a great professor. Everything he assigns has clear instruction, follow this and youll get an A. Check your email often-he puts extra credit and assignments in there. Professor Peck is a very good person and I learned a lot from his class.

HIs class is very boring. He is very strict regarding format. He does not really focus on the content of writing as much as the format and structure. His class is very redundant and unnecessary. It will feel as if you are learning middle school material

This professor was probably one of the strictest grader when it came to papers. He points out all errors so if you think you know how to write essays, you dont. However, he is very helpful if you ask him about it. Although he does offer extra credit, you have to do the most for it.

He is my favorite teacher so far. Super nice and easy to learn from . I would email him on and off about when i couldn't make it to class and he was totally cool about it. Very nice guy that wants you to do well in the class

Doesn't assign as much Hw through the entire semester. The final is a take-home essay and you MUST check your EMAil every day because he will send you HW from there. Do Not be late to his class counts as participation points. He does lecture a little bit too much but it's bearable. Follow what he says and you would pass not a heavy class.

Not a lot of reading, but lots of papers. A real stickler for paper formatting. You NEED the textbooks, but rent if you can. Use good time management and you should do fine.

Professor Peck is a fair professor, if you participate, and actually try, he will help you. Tough grader for a tough class. Not for the faint of heart. He gives study guides and worksheets, all info for the midterm study guide is STRAIGHT FROM THE PAGES. He will even tell you which pages to study. If you do the work, you will learn something.

Boring professor yet again!! I just can't understand his Grading criteria or logic!! If you are a good student with English, you'll get an 'A' & if decent, 'B'. His lectures are really monotonous & every 3rd line, the professor blurts out some Shakespearean sonnet or some poem or verses which "NOBODY" knows or understands.... He's in his own world!

Professor Peck is an extremely caring and kind man. This class made me significantly better at writing essays and was overall enjoyable. If you have a question he will be glad to answer it; I especially recommend asking him to check if your formatting is correct on papers in advance because he will not take them if it is not.

Professor Peck is a very good professor. I genuinely enjoyed coming to his class and discussing English. People say he is boring, but I found this not the case. If you are boring, the class will be boring. If you seek out ways to stimulate conversation and participate in discussions, the class will come to life. He also gives a lot of extra credit.

Professor Peck is a wonderful teacher. He also happens to be a very kind man. The classes get boring at times, but he genuinely shows enthusiasm. He wants you to succeed, and gives you every chance to do so. Too him for ENC1101, currently taking him for ENC1102. Strongly recommend him. Great teacher, even better man.
