The worst professor I have ever taken. She's not clear on her grading criteria. The more she likes you, the better grades you get. Rough draft and final draft are always submitted at the same time so there is no way to improve your grades on 1 paper. She only focus to give feedback on grammar. Hardly learn anything from her class.

She is a great professor, very funny and intelligent. She is a tough grader, but if you put enough effort in your essay, you will definitely got an A. Visiting SLC for grammar correction is mandatory if you don't want to lose points. English is my second language but i got an A easily. Definitely take her class again if i could.

Professor Garcia is understanding, and sweet. She is fun to be around. She often misses class but she grades easy if you do the work. She also offers extra credit for every essay if you get it looked over in the BB building. She takes the time to get to know each student individually and accepts some late work if you have a valid reason.

I do not consider her a professor. I have 0 respect for someone who takes pride in ridiculing others in public about their education. she was a great professor, but she never shows up for class in the first week she missed 3 days and only showed up for the first class. She also never informs you when she will be absent, she just never shows up for the class and you waste you gas to come early. grading is not bad just go to SLC , I was 1 point away from a b, but the semester ende

This is the worst professsor EVER. whole time I had her class I wondered how in the world this lady became a professor. all you do is watch a movie, choose a character to write about all semester. she'll take off 10 pts for each punctuational error. she doesn't let you know when class is cancelled and if she doesnt like you it'll show in your grade

Worst teacher I've ever had. Very disrespectful to other students who she doesn't agree with. She loses papers ALL the time. When she hands back papers make sure you keep them, chances are she will forget to give you a grade. DO NOT TAKE HER. She also doesn't give a notice when class is canceled. She just leaves a note on the door.

I LOVE Professor Garcia! She was by far my favorite teacher this semester. Lots of essays to write, but she teaches you how to become a better writer. For those complaining that she is a tough grader:she is, but only if you don't try or do a sloppy job. I got A's on every essay I turned in. Go to the SLC lab for extra credit

Professor Garcia is very well rounded. I would advise anyone with a strong mind to take her. She can seem harsh but it's only for the good of your learning. She can say things that might make you think twice but she doesn't mean for it to be rude she only expects the best you're able to give. She was one of my favorite professors.
