Comment:

She was a very involved teacher and was good at leading lecture, however, she has a very opinionated way of teaching. If you don't agree with her views you're probably not going to get a good grade. She is very feminist, so if your're looking for that type of class go for it.

She is amazing. SHe was the first lit class I ever enjoyed. She wants all of her students to do well and she will go out of her way to do that. I highly recommend her.

Comment:

I love Prof. Viti, i've had her for 3 classes! She is so helpful, just see her often during her office hours & you will do well. She's not an easy teacher, you still have to work for your grade though. Volunteer often in discussions, she loves it!& she won't make you feel bad even if you're not exactly right, unlike a lot of other French teachers

Comment:

I had this professor for 202 and 305. She does assign a good amount of homework, but as long as you do everything she says to, you will be fine (make sure to read, she will know!). Very open to discussion and is very friendly. If you are lost at all, she can be extremely helpful.

Comment:

She gives a lot of writing and reading but is almost always readily available if you need help. Her teaching style is excellent. Even if you're not really strong in French, she'll explain things in a way that you can understand and will force you to practice your speaking but will never embarrass you. The class discussions were always interesting.

This class was so interesting!! Although it doesn't fulfill any requirements, the readings were fun and the discussions were engaging. The tests were easy (straight out of the notes) but the papers were not!! You have to do so many rough drafts and she is so picky. Overall, good professor.

I've had her for 3 classes and as an informal advisor. She does give a lot of reading and writing, but she's always more than willing to help you out if you don't understand something or are struggling. She's always willing to have a chat. You'll learn a lot from her. I just love her as a prof.

Great professor, don't slack off! She is tough but fair, and totally open to students during office hours. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THEM! One thiing Mme. Viti does that others do not: she fosters true interst not just in a language, but the culture as well.

She was a good professor and was willing to help you outside of class. It was tough though and you had to go to class and do homework. It was sometimes hard to get through because she spoke no english at all, even when you were super confused as a class

Never had her as a prof, but she was my advisor freshman/sophmore year, and she was a really bad advisor. She didn't help me or give me any guidance, and I don't think she even knew my name the whole 2 years.

Professor Viti's class has been my favorite to date. Save for the fact that she seems a bit inconsitent when grading her papers throughout the draft process, she is abo****ely wonderful. She makes a positive learning environment and cares for all.

Professor Viti is very demanding but one of the best teachers I have ever had. She will make you work for your grade, but you will come away from her class with a wealth of knowledge. She rocks the women's studies department.

She opened my eyes to the basics of feminism. You can tell that she puts a lot of effort into selecting the readings, which are all interesting and relevant. The papers were fun to do, but her critiques were a little picky.
