Sweetest person, and a total nerd like me that is into history. She is passionate & knows her stuff very well. Her lectures are a bit all over the place, but just take good notes, study, and you shall do fine on the exam. Participate as well, she loves that!

Comment:

She's a great professor and gets students involved in historical activities which were pretty fun. Lots of reading and a some homework but not bad at all. If you read and follow instructions you'll be sure to get a descent grade.

Professor Lemoine is a great person good heart the only thing is her lectures are kind of all over the place at times. Get ready to write plenty of short essays and reading long articles the assignments are hard to understand at times

Comment:

Her lectures are very hard to sit through, she struggles a lot to make them engaging. The assignments are all pretty simple and besides 2 or 3 big papers you don't need to do much in order to pass her class with a good grade. She takes a LONG time to grade papers.

Shes really funny and has great stories that tie into her lectures. She can get distracted and off topic but lectures are fine. Reasonable amount of homework. Shes very understanding and easygoing and an easy grader. Her homework and exams are incredibly easy and reasonable.

Super interesting and a very caring professor. Lectures can be long, but she knows her stuff and adds anecdotes. Expect to work; it's a college level History class, but you will learn. I liked her personally. A genuinely engaged professor.

Her lectures are honestly super boring BUT she is a really nice person and understands if you're having difficulty turning stuff in. She relies heavily on the textbook and in class notes are pretty useless. Take notes on the stuff she doesn't have on the powerpoint. Def would take her again fore easiness.

Comment:

Super boring lectures and I found it difficult to know what I should write in my notes and what was important information that I should know. At the same time, she is a nice person, willing to help you out when you are having trouble and does let you use notes for the midterm/final. A few essays and several (pretty easy) assignments in the course.

Well her lectures are boring that's a start. 3 short essays 1 long essay a midterm and final. If you just do the work you'll pass the class. I wouldn't recommend this professor though if you're a history major

So boring. I am a history major and I dreaded this class. Bad lectures that felt like a waste of time. Many assignments and quizzes. 3 essays. 2 exams with in class essays. BUT She allows a cheat sheet for the exams (yyaass!), but most of the stuff on the exam was never taught and you have to prep for about 15 essays for each exam.

She's a sweet lady, a little nervous in front of groups. Her grading isn't hard and theres virtually no homework. Gets off topic a lot, teaches mainly off powerpoints which are bare bones and hard to study off. She goes in depth on these key words she puts in, but very randomly. Some of the coolest stuff i learned was from the students.

Lemoine makes everything really easy to understand, the homework is really easy, and the midterms are clear and easy. The class itself is a bit boring because it's usually a power point through the whole class, but she does make it fun with games.

She is good professor who knows her stuff. Only problem is that her class is really boring and not that engaging. However, class is really easy and she only grades strictly on the essays assigned. It is also very tempting to fall asleep in her class because of how she teaches. I dislike going to class but the easiness of it kept me going.

I loved Professor Lemoine's class! She makes good powerpoints that are easy to follow. She is a hard grader when it comes to essays. Her tests are only hard if you don't fill out your note sheet thoroughly. Overall she is a great Professor and I loved going to her class!

She is a nice teacher. very easy grader on homework. You cannot pass the exams with the notes alone. Notes taken in class are useless. I never paid attention in class. Just lightly read the chapters and study the cheet sheet and you will be fine. Classes are boring as it can be.

This class is pretty easy. Florence isn't the most confident you'll see but she likes her job. (She gets very animated about the French, since that's her heritage--it's amusing since the class gets kinda boring). HW looks excessive but it's SO easy. Essay style tests.

This class is easy. There are a few short essays 2-3pgs. and one 4-6pgs. She has you buy 4 books which you dont need if you use any its World Together, Apart others you can use the library because you'll only use them twice maybe. she gave a list of questions on the final which you can fill out and bring, the only time i used the WTWAbook.Boring.

this teacher is pretty easy. Do your work, come to class and you'll do fine. The only complaint I have is that she uses too many many slide shows(I find it hard to stay attentive during them). The class can be a little boring at times, but if you're looking to take a semi-easy class then you found it.

Only minor grip is I would have liked more detailed power point slides. It is vital that you not only come to class BUT take notes as well! Grades easy on quizzes & small stuff but a bit harder on essays and exams. Also there is ample opportunity in the form of extra credit. Come to class, take notes, do work and extra credit and you should pass.

Lemoine is a great prof. The mandatory attendance is ridiculous. a grade should be based on one's knowledge of the subject not attendance. She grades hard on essays, but her study guides are great. Make sure to fill everything out because she lets you use them on the tests
