Math 104 : Come to class with any questions you have about homework and he will answer them during class no matter how long it takes during class time. Unlocks homework all the time. Few quizzes, most work is on my math lab. Wish he taught Math 108!

Comment:

Reid is an amazing math teacher! He explains everything well & will not move on until everyone gets it. Everyday at the beginning of class he asks if anyone has questions for him on anything & goes through them. You can use a index card on the exams & if your homework grade average is a 80+ he will add 2 points to your exams. He's nice and caring.

He teaches well but his examples are cake compared to his tests. He tries to teach how to do everything on a calculator, yet he makes his test to where the calculator hates the numbers (his words, not mine). I would suggest getting tutoring or brushing up on skills.

Great professor. The homework and quizzes are online and he works with you if you have computer problems or something like that. He's super helpful and doesn't make students look or feel stupid for asking questions. Not much extra credit, though he does give 2 points on tests is the homework assignments are 80% or better.

Dr. Reid is very helpful. he teaches using powerpoints, but if you ask questions he is always willing to help. You can go to his office during his office hours and is always very helpful. He uses Math XL and his quizzes will get you if you don't do the homework assigned from the book.

Great at teaching the material and will gladly offer help and make sure every student understands before moving on. Nice guy, corny jokes. Only allowed 4 unexcused absences but is understanding if you need to miss more and have a legitimate excuse.

Dr. Reid is a great math professor! He explains everything as many times as you need it during class and if you need it he'll meet with you after class. If you do the work you WILL get an A even if you are bad at math. Take Reid at all costs!

I took him recently and had to drop because he never explained anything fully in class and I was falling behind. Not everyone took Pre-Cal in highschool so those of us who need more help actually need to get the help. He just assumed the whole class knew what he was talking about and never explained anything fully. I would not recommend him.

Very helpful professor. He is actually in his office when he has his office hours. Will go above and beyond to help you if you need it. Gives extra credit in the class which helps your grade very much! I recommend to take him.

Reid is the best! He doesn't require attendance or homework completion but both are beneficial! His teaching is easy to understand and he goes over homework questions so ask if you do homework and need help. Tests are easy if you study.

Dr. Reid is a good professor. Overall just do the homework assignments from textbook and MathXL and you are okay. Realy cares about students' progess in there. He may bring out some hard problems to his quizzes and tests but in order to pass you really need to dedicate lots of time to do that (more than 3 hours according to him).

Easy material but the way he goes about it makes it difficult. The material you take notes on comes directly out the book. Doesnt give study guide, but is real helpful and open when time for questions on exam. Basically you are kind of teaching yourself, so if you are good at that, sign up for em'!

Dr. Reid uses Mathematica (now they've switched to Maple) for lectures and homeworks. I enjoyed using the software to set problems up. He was very clear and went the extra mile to help students who had problems along the way. Unless you hate computers, I highly recommend this teacher.

Very nice guy! Almost ALWAYS available for help and always gives great answers to questions. Gives sample exams that help alot with the tests. Great professor.
