He's hilarious. I got away with not reading any of the reading material and still getting an A in the class. He likes when you show up, but doesn't check attendance too often. You don't really want to miss his class though, because he is just so funny. He makes 8:30AM classes enjoyable, even though you have to wake up early.

Dr. P is just amazing!!! He is funny. He shares insights with us in class. His lectures are interesting. Highly recommended!! Though he is kind of an easy grader. He writes a lot of good things on your paper but rarely give you harsh criticism (well I guess it's a good thing sometimes). I wish he could have given me more negative feedback

Dr. P is the best professor I have ever taken. I took his class for the first time sophomore year when I was still planning to be a Soc/Anth major, and since then changed my major to English & have made sure to have a class with him every semester since because of how absolutely amazing he is. Love him to death & can tell he loves his students too!

One of my favorite professors at Denison. Keeps class entertaining and is hilarious. Only downside was that I only got one paper back the whole semester.. (15% of my grade) going into the final.

Porcheddu is awesome. He is a really great guy and conducts an entertaining and interesting class. I wasn't excited to take my mandatory writing course, but he made it enjoyable. I recommend this teacher to everyone!

I was placed into Porcheddu's class due to my interest in the topic. He has quickly become my favorite professor, friend, and mentor. He is very in touch with the community and cares about his students. Additionally, he provides critical and early feedback on papers. I will definitely take another class with Dr. Porcheddu.

Being as unbiased as possible, Porcheddu is one of the best teachers I have ever had. He is VERY understanding, even in situations where you might not think he would be. He really knows how to connect with the students and can easily tell how they best learn. His class is almost always an open-topic discussion every day... fun stuff!

I worked with Fred all summer doing research and it was such a fun time. He has such curiousity about topics and it is obvious that he loves learning, not just completing requirements. Such a helpful person and became a friend as much as a mentor.
