Comment:

The exams do not correspond to the material which causes terrible class averages. He "fixes" this by allowing you to drop a test and the final is open book/notes. STILL NOT WORTH IT. This class is beyond frustrating. He may be a nice guy but AVOID THIS CLASS. I didn't learn anything about I/O psych. This was worse than his stress management class.

Comment:

Do you like a professor who reads directly to you out of a textbook? You found your man. Nice guy, but if possible I would consider other options. Attendance is mandatory so bring some other class assignments to work on while you sit for three hours and listen to an monotone audio book sprinkled with personal anecdotes.

Lectures consist of reading through the material from the book and adding some personal anecdotes. No homework and average difficulty for the tests. Old school but really nice professor.

He's very nice and has a good personality, but sits in the front of the class and reads out of the text book. The class was just 3 (very easy) exams, 1 of which was open book and open notes. The only thing is sometimes he expresses his personal views on certain social matters or "hot topics", and that bothered me a bit. You do need the book.

Make sure you buy the textbook because that is your only source for the test. Only 3 exams so make sure you study hard. Lectures are very, very boring. I would usually work on other class work, but, overall a nice guy. Gave 5 point extra credit and takes attendance. Boring class

Took Dr. Rahaim for stress management over the summer, 3 easy tests, usually got out early, and he told some funny stories. If you need an easy psych elective definitely take him.

Wonderful PERSON, horrible TEACHER! He means well, but he is excruciatingly dry and ranty. Literally havent learned one thing all year... unless you count his personal life story. Get's facts wrong ALL the time; If you actually want to learn anything about psychology, avoid him like the plague. Makes mistakes on the tests constantly so double check

I really like him. Lectures are a little rough because they're so long and at the end of the day, his lectures are a little dry, but he's a cool guy. Great personality, very straight-forward, and wants you to succeed. That's all you can ask for!

Dr. Skip is a phenomenal professor. I have had him for 3 different classes and I think he is a great educator. His lectures are a bit boring but he gets you through the material and answers any questions you might have. His tests are relatively easy if you study at all. Certain courses he allows open book tests.

He is so boring in class and takes attendance which goes toward you're final grade. Class is based on 4 tests and they are all fill in the blank with extra credit. The tests are easy if you can listen to his lectures, but he normally ends up curving them.

Dr. Rahaim is very fair. Took him for IOP class and at first it seemed hard, but it really is not. Multiple choice questions, tells you what you need to know. Attendance not mandatory, but its up to you what you want to learn and what you dont. Nice guy overall.

Super nice guy! AWFUL teacher! Sits in front the class, talking & boring you to death! If you can memorize every definition in book, easy class for you! I learned nothing! 3 tests only - multiple choice, fill in blanks, matching with unequal options, multiple choice, etc. Just about everyone failed the first test! Btw, mandatory attendance.

Great guy, really easy, will be reasonable if you have to miss a class. Doesn't require a doctor's note. Really helpful. No need to take notes, for the most part. I always leave this class feeling better about myself. Not a lot of grades at first.

I had Dr. Skip for a lifespan class last year and it was MUCH easier than this class! The first test is a combination of multiple choice, fill in the blank and matching which is very tricky if you arent prepared for it. Nice man, but very boring. Mandatory attendance, but pointless to be there. Its an easy class. just bring a laptop and keep yourself occupied because what he talks about isn't on the test. You don't need to take notes, just study the chapters before each exam. Final is open book. No papers due and ex credit avail. Easy class but test 1 is tricky.
