professor is the hottest and the funniest at CSUN. I went to class just to look at him, and believe it or not I learned a lot by just looking at hime. I highly reccomend. the way he touches the board just excites I can't help but scream A+

Amazing professor! He really cares about his students! He is very clear on what will be on the tests. Mostly word for word from the study pack you need to buy. Learned so much from this class, would take many more classes with him and i highly recommend him!

SImple class. A 5 page paper based on his book and 3 tests. The tests are based word for word and exclusively on the packet that he requires. The packet is about 15 bucks and you get it at the bookstore. It has all of the notes you'll need to study. Study the packet and you'll pass the tests. Memorization is key.

Professor Elias was the first college professor I had, and I thoroughly enjoyed his lectures. He's very humorous, relatable, and uses plenty of real-life examples to help teach the intricacies of the daunting subject of psychology. Overall, he's a great professor to have :)

What an odd professor. Spent most of the class talking about himself. Boasts about his book sales (the one he makes every class he teaches read). Made me feel uncomfortable with some of his questionably ethical demonstrations.

He does go off topic and he can be a little weird at times. He does not use Moodle unlike my other prof. so you won't know were you stand until the end of the course. He doesn't give homework or any assignments. If you can study on your own or good test taker maybe you can succeeded other wise don't take him. stay away!!!

This class was very difficult for me only because i am not a great test studier. I got 2 C's and one D for the three midterms and for the final i'm not sure what i got but i passed with a C. Thank God! Don't really need the textbook, just his study guide at bookstore! He tells you what will be on the tests. He does go off topic quite a bit.

His class is extremely interesting but also very difficult. I am used to passing all of my classes but this was the first class i didn't pass. It's very difficult. HE DOE NOT CURVE and grades only consist of 4 exams. If you can, don't take him.

One of the worst professors I have ever had. He just tells his stories, and doesn't even elaborate on his lectures. The textbook is useless, don't even purchase it. If you have the slightest interest in Psychology, take a different class. All you're gonna hear from him is his life stories. Worst class. Don't Take.

Stay away!! If ur not a good test taker do not take his PSY 150 CLASS his class depends on tests and if u fail one or two u are basically done.. his classes are like mostly storytelling and he goes off topic a lot!!! I rather have classes with h.w or work so I can understand the subject more. oh and he dosent curve and is not helpful at all.

STAY AWAY!!! he is not a nice guy although he likes to think he is and is not helpful at all. I'ma straight A student and this class messed that up. I read the entire book even went to all the lectures, but it's useless because his tests are very subjective. Just take another professor if you care about your grade. the worst

I really hope he curves at the end because I strongly believe I failed this class. I studied hard but too much information to remember Its difficult passing when you only have 4 test scores and no assignments. If you fail one, you cant do anything else to bring it up. Hope he curves the class average because a good amount of people failed

He did not give any assignments for us to get an idea we were covering the correct foundation for psych. He makes comments, that weren't even funny. I recommend this class if you have good test skills, because your grade is based only on the test. Don't buy the textbook just the guide he sells.

The real textbook was not used even thought it was "required". Need to buy his book and notepad from the school bookstore. Lecture is fun almost no need taking notes because his exams are from the notepad. 3 midterms and 1 final (100 questions). Probably you don't learn much but I think this is a great filling class.

TAKE HIM. Dr. Fred is one of the best professors at CSUN. Here is the outline of the class, one easy paper which is based of the book Dr. Fred wrote and three easy midterms. You need to buy his book which is the course packet, all his questions from the test are from that packet. For sure it is an EASY A!!
