Comment:

Awesome instructor, attendance is mandatory as you get points just for showing up to class. He is very disorganized so you won't get grades in a timely fashion but if you're good in math then you will not have a problem. He test you on his notes so take good notes! He tries to scare you with all his "logic" talk but just learn the notes, easy A.

In order to understand the materials, you must attend class! QDM isn't easy, but he goes in a pace slow enough for you to understand. If it's still unclear, ask him after class and he'll gladly explain. Exam consists of 1 midterm and a final. I recommend taking him, if possible.

He has his own methods for working probs which are not in book. My best advice is,attend every class,practice probs after class,and do all hwk.He makes the exam the night before after leaving the bars at 2am and miscalculated time needed on the midterm.I think some students got on his nerves with stupid questions.He really knows his stuff.

Dr. Stading is an awesome professor. QDM is not an easy subject, however Dr. Stading explains the materials for easy understanding. Please note that attendance is highly mandatory in order to successfully pass this class. You MUST study and practice all the problems assigned in class and you will do well. I highly recommend this professor for QDM.

Awesome and fun teacher. He is somewhat disorganized but a great teacher if you are organized and pay attention. Class attendance is mandatory, he does require a lot of homework and class participation is a must. Two exams and final and one powerpoint presentation. I learned a lot from this instructor and enjoyed his way of viewing negotiattion.

Great Professor, learned a lot about negotiation. Attendance is mandatory..Some paper, presentations, 1st exam was good, 2nd exam contained way too many chapters and was a bit unorganized and overwhelming...overall, cool class.

Dr. Stading is a great professor. At the beginning the class seem to be droppable because the course is hard, but Dr. Stading will help as much as he can. I recommend him highly, just do your homework, cases, and participate and you will be fine, although the exams are hard.

I loved this class, too ! Very interesting lecture, clearly explain, easy way to understand and solve the problem. Take a good notes and practice homeworks, you're able to get an A , B. Don't miss class !!!!!

I loved his class! It was very interesting and he explains each subject thoroughly. He gives a lot of home work, the class in general is hard work, but if you put the time into it, you can definitely receive an A or B.

Good teacher! He makes the difficult course material understandable. He's kind of quirky though, and seems to always have more important things to do than teach class. Ask him where he stays when he goes to Germany every spring. :)

Dr. Stading is either very busy or very lazy. He makes very little time for his students. He is a cool guy, nice attitude. Don't expect to learn much from this class. He is lazy because he will pass on the work and grading off to the students and pretty much be hands-off. He'll forget to check e-mails so don't expect an answer back soon.

Don't miss a class day-ask questions that same day 'cause he will not explain again in great detail. Expect homework 2B due on exam days.Practice, U must be fast 2-finish exam.Very long problems.Goes by the Student "BS" dilemma which I hated.U'll never know ur grades on those unexplained,hard projects. Good professor, do recommend.

Teaches very fast. Book is useless, only used to get examples from. He has his own methods of teaching QDM. Uses "Student Dilemma" to grade students. Tests are long and you run out of time fast on them. Practice getting fast on exams. Seldom returns e-mails, tricky office hours. Very clear and will answer questions in class. Take very good notes.

Do not expect any help from this professor. If you email him and you are lucky to recieve a reply. And if you work during the day too bad for you, his office hours only run before five. I was very dissappointed, he has his own methods so you can't study from anything and the notes do not help much on the test. Good luck if you decide to take him.
