Comment:
This class was by far the worst of the year. Sheridan assigned 2 essays AND 2 midterm exams AND whole ass books to read in the span of 10 weeks. That is a prof who likes torturing students if you ask me...

Worst professor ever. He gave me no credit for an essay because I changed the topic of my essay a few weeks before it was due. Absolutely horrible person and grader, has no sympathy for anyone. This course was one of the worst experiences in college. Best example of those who can't do, teach

Sheridan had ridiculous reasons for giving students low grades on essays. He gives students grades based off whether he likes them or not, not for their actual effort in class. I barely passed this dude's boring class. Lectures are not mandatory since all he does is put you to sleep so you might as well have slept that extra hour in the morning.

SO MUCH READING - Sometimes over 100 pages for the night, very unrealistic expectations. Hard to know what he wanted on test and essays. Long lectures but VERY useful if you aren't going to read! Definitely appreciates participation

He was a friendly guy, pretty smart with all the material... sometimes it gets a little dry and boring when the Econ kids dominate the conversations. I'd say George is a pretty understanding prof, though, he'll help ya out if you have to miss class for whatever reason, and most of the time he grades really fairly. I would recommend the Sheridan...

Great teacher, incredibly smart. Gets excited about the material and teaches it in a clear, coherent way. Take him if you can!! You'll learn a lot. Its the type of professor you should have in college: smart, educated, articulate, doesn't go off topic but remains interesting.
