He may not be a nice guy when you ask questions but fairly speaking, i learn a lot from this class. One of the best classes that you can take at fullerton. Take him if you want to learn, make sure no slackers in your group or you ll be screwed. Got an A :)

Ok so he's a grumpy old man and its a boring class. the course mirrors Acct 302. the exams r extremely easy tho. you purchase his notebook & can use it during quizzes & exams. the big project is time consuming & you NEED a reliable group so choose wisely! (dont get stuck with lazy kids) i did not like him as a professor but an easy course.

I think he can get sensitive and mean sometimes.(Typical senior). If you visit his office hours he will gladly help you out. He prefers things go his ways or expect a slash on your grade. Don't try to be creative and go against him otherwise you will end up paying the price. Do well on the group project since it helps a great deal.

at the start of every lecture he goes over what is in the news, WSJ, he does this to show you how to interpret the news and apply it to your budget and decision making in a corporation. Very useful if you catch on. Group projects are demanding but will help you on the final a great deal. If you want to learn, you will learn from him, keep your open

I took this class thinking that it would provide me with useful knowlege in my career. What I received was a complete waste of money and time. He does not teach, he spends his time talking about the economy and giving students bad information. If you want an easy A take this class, if you actually want to learn something take something else.

He's a good professor. Textbook is not needed. Just listen to his lectures, buy the note packet, and you'll be set. His exams are easy--they are open notes. Also, as was said before, group work is rather demanding.

Not a bad teacher. You don't need to buy the book, just use his lecture packet. As long as you pay attention in class and know how to do the problems you'll do fine. He tells you exactly what's on the test beforehand, also, make sure you pick a good group for the projects...they're a lot of work.

Good course to take for fin majors. Class can be vague and unstructured. He tends to go all over the place. Follow closely and stay awake in class. Is an extremely picky grader-very hard to get A's. Best strategy is to ace all the quizzes and do all the extra credit. It helps a lot! Gives really good test reviews. Write it all down and regurgitate!

This is a difficult course. Lectures are boring but informative. His projects are hard so prepare to spend time on them. His exams are EXACTLY what he tells you, very easy. They are open notes/book. He has a unique grading scale (based on distribution curve). Take the time to understand it. It will make the class much easier. Good Luck!

Worst teacher i ever had. He is hostile and unhelpful. He lobbies for good reviews but doesn't back them up with any good qualities. He's rude and unclear. I would not recommend him to anyone.

Class does not seem to be to difficult but Amiri can be very picky on work that is turned in(he has a tendency to teach something and then test you on something that is different). He does have his favorites as well. If you are expecting an A forget it. Never heard that on department restrictions for A's, just his grading style.

helpful class! you will learn if you practice the problems from class. But if you are expecting an A, forget it. Even after having 89.9%, ended up getting a B ( where 90% is a A)

Due to restrictions, Dr. Amiri has a limit on giving out A's to students. This is not his fault, it's department's fault.Very friendly and even offers his house phone number to his students if they need help. Class is challenging but do-able. As of now over 80% of class has a grade of B and up.

He's actually not that bad. He tells you what to study, tests and quizzes are open note. He even gives out extra credit.Unfortunately he puts curve that limits the top 10% of class can get A's. Meaning the curve doesn't help students. Class isn't that difficult for a 400 hundred level. Most have B's

Arrogant, demeaning to students who ask questions. Advised students that breaking the tax laws is okay because "everyone does it". Worst instructor I've had at CSUF.
