Veser is incredibly knowledgeable, super kind, and has a great sense of humor. Make sure to get into his section! You'll learn an incredible amount and have fun while doing it (but be aware that he makes you work for it - there is a lot of hard homework!). His course single-handedly convinced me that I picked the right major.

Veser's the real deal. Totally goes out of his way to make you understand the stuff. Difficult pillar class, and gives tons of homework, so be prepared to work real hard. Absolutely awesome teacher, though!

Fantastic professor. I had him for CHE 0200, and immediately signed up for his section for 0400. Obviously wants his students to succeed. Lectures are entertaining and tests are easy (as much as possible, it is Chemical Engineering...). My only complaint is that he doesn't teach every pillar class.

You won't find a better professor. He loves his job and loves his students. He mixes intuition with mathematics. His notes are clear, concise, and he tries to get you to think through the problems. Homework is group work, but do the homework or you'll struggle on a test. He curves while grading, though claims a no curve class.

Tough class, but awesome lectures. Super organized, very clear, and injects humor to shake it up. Veser is super nice and really cares that you learn. Emphasizes thinking over number crunching. Made Thermo my favorite subject so far.

Best prof ever: He makes 8AM Thermo fun! Tons of really hard homework make you work like crazy, though. Very fair exams, and quizzes in groups. Overall, awesome prof who really cares about students and makes you think.

This professor is by far the best professor yet. He is very knowledgeable and understands we all have other things going on during the year. He is very nice and his tests are very straight forward. The homework is difficult, but better the homework than the tests. Would recommend %110. He does give pop quizzes though attendance is not mandatory.

Dr. Veser is an excellent teacher and a fair grader. Go to him for help because he really tries to help you comprehend the concepts not just a single problem. He makes an effort to make 8am thermo bearable and inserts humor whenever possible. He really want his students to succeed and accommodates as much as possible.

Do yourself a favor, and take Dr. Veser for any class he offers. His exams are completely fair, and he teaches you everything you need to know. If you don't understand something during lecture, stop him and ask questions. He loves questions and really encourages people to ask for help. This guy is the man. I hear he is teaching 400 soon, too.

Excellent teacher, great personality, works well with students. Can explain things relatively well, but is a little weak on giving helpful examples. Easily counteracted by going to his office hours or interacting with the TA's

Standard Pillar Professor. If you do all of the homework and stay awake for the lectures, you'll do fine; even if you never set foot in his office. Get to know the TA's as his HW's can get tricky sometimes with Matlab programming.
