Comment:

He makes math easy to understand. Quiz at the end of each class and lots of homework. The homework is only 5% of your grade but if you don't do the homework it is hard to actually learn the material. Offers extra credit by going to the Math and Science Center. Drops 5 lowest quizzes and 1 lowest test. I wish he taught the upper division classes!

Comment:

Professor Fung is one of the BEST professors I have taken at Rio. I took him after failing Math 70 two times with other professors and it was the best decision I've made. Math is not and never will be my strong suit but he made the subject very easy to follow and understand. You definitely need to study and do the hw to pass.

Mr. Fung makes math very easy to understand. Hes a real laid back, super nice, easy-going dork. The only downside to his class is that he gives waaay too much homework.

I took him for summer, Math 50. I hate math but he made it easy and even fun. He made the 3 hours fly by and I would gladly take him again. He is very clear and passionate.

BEST TEACHER EVER! HANDS DOWN!! you must take him if you have trouble with math!:) he will help you. Hes sooooo nice and friendly. One of the jolliest people ive ever met. He is one happy little jolly Asian guy; always shows up to class happy about what he's doing. Very passionate about teaching and you will learn if you're willing to study and do your work. Just remember that no math is easy and it does take a lot of effort and time to get an A. Nonetheless, it is do able.

Prof Fung is the best professor I have ever had. Never considered myself a math person but took him for math 50 and 70 and got A in both classes. Do homework, go to every class, ask all the questions you need to, follow his program, you will learn math and get an A. Also asked him to write letters of rec and was totally awesome about it!!

Had him for Math 70, he was very helpful and his teaching methods made sense. Highly recommend taking this class, plus had a great sense of humor. GREAT TEACHER !!!!

Probably one of my favorite math teachers of all time. Very good at explaining, makes information very interesting. Assigns alot of homework but if you do it you will learn. Has quiz at the beginning of every class but its only 5 questions. If u did the homework its easy. Drops 3 lowest quizzes and 1 lowest exam. Gives long break in middle of class

Mr. Fung is a very nice person but not very helpful. I took his hybrid class which was primarily taught online and this was not very helpful. If you don't understand he does not explain thoroughly. I tried pretty hard and got an F.

Awsome Funny Easy Teacher! If you good at math you don't really have to attend class often, but if you are not good at math just attend and you will learn. My math is not good, but I attend to class and take nap all the time and PASS with A!! WARNING: Don't Do What I Did!!

He is a great teacher!! i took him in the summer and it was a good class, he explain everything and the quizzes are easy and you get to check them with partners!! he is fluent and clear of the material covered. He leaves alot of hmk because its the summer but its worth it since you need the practice. Overall, a wonderfull math teacher!!!
