My favorite professor at Denison so far; I LOVE VB! He taught my FYS 102 and halfway through the semester he insisted I meet with him, add Religion to my major, and make him my adviser...all of which were excellent decisions. He is hilarious and cares so much about his students, and while his classes are heavy in reading, you can skim. He's great!

Always comes to class in a good mood. Is an expert in his subject matter. However, the work is exhausting; I bought eight books for his FYS class and write three page daily papers.

Very fun and interesting guy, but sooooooooooooooooo much reading. Reading just sort of bogs you down. If the reading wasn't so much I would have probably have taken another class with him.
