I loved having Dr. Porter. He challenges each of his students. It can be frustrating at times but he makes you think outside the box and if you plan to work in Law enforcement youll have to be prepared for that. Be prepared for class participation, and makes you work for your grade but trust me that A will be the most rewarding grade you earn!!!!

He loves to talk and if everyone isnt listening he will blatantly call them out. Hes very kind and you can make up any tests. He loves to stereotype the people he used to arrest as a cop. He gives study guides for his test. And tons of extracredit. Easy A

Porter loves to spend his time in class talking about two things: Baseball, and stories from when he was a cop. He lectures the entire class, and then has tests weekly. They aren't hard, but it is a lot. Oh, and he won't give your grades back for literally weeks. He is the worst about that. Porter is old school. He's alright though. Easy Classes.

Harry Porter is tough! He expects you to read your textbook and will create test questions that come from the textbook, not just his lecture. He is also the most interesting professor I've ever had and keeps the class awake with his sudden outbursts and amusing comments. He wants his class to pass and offers extra credit quizzes & papers. I'm a fan

Does tend to ramble. Hardly uses book. Sends lots of emails, material in them can be on test, although he doesn't mention it. Very old school - more worried about you having your cell phone out or being tardy. Needs to stick to material.
