Comment:
I had Jamie for a World Campus course. He was not engaged with us. The semester ends in a day or two, and at this point we have NO GRADES posted in the grade book. He states that our papers aren't due until the 13th, but he is putting the grades in tomorrow (the 11th). The final papers will not be considered for the grades. Disappointing.

Jamie gives each of his students the chance to be right, which I think is paramount in a confidence-driven vocation like teaching. No one will accuse him of lecturing to death, and no one will accuse him of making students worse for being with him. I've used his research in my own often because it is applicable to most learning communities.

Dr. Myers is the best professor I ever had because he instilled living communities of learners who shared, discovered, and constructed knowledge and reality. As a learner, I grew immensely. I want to instill this drive, continual inquiry, sense of collaboration & community in my students. Real world connections & experiences make learning valuable

Dependant learners who believe learning is static and fixed will struggle, but it has allowed me to grow and learn as never before. His style of open ended, interest and process based inquiry could revolutionize the realm of worldly possibilities. Visionary

Although Jamie's teadhing can feel thoeretical and foggy, in the end his methods teach us to think and move beyond our assumptions and cause us to become reflective teachers.

He is my true mentor. Throughout my 20 something years of schooling, he is the most awesome teacher I have ever had. I learned and am still learning a lot. Just need some patience, but if you are patient enough, you’ll know what I mean. I thank him from m

He thinks he knows all there is to know, but doesn't help with anything. He dances around answers and says, "What do you think?" way too much.
