Dr. Mrs. Ferencz is absolutely amazing. She is extremely clear in her expectations and is always more than willing to meet if you need additional help or have questions. She is super approachable and brilliant. She makes you work for the grade, but also makes you feel very accomplished at the end of the class. 10/10 would recommend!

Great Prof. She was VERY organized with her online section and was always prompt with responding to E-mails. As with any class, you need to put in work, but as long as you really do the readings and watch the videos then you will do well. I highly recommend this professor for the Summer, online section!

Can be rude. Does not provide power points for the class because she wants people to attend. Goes through PPTs too fast. Does not make results to quizzes available. Knows her material very well. Very serious. She said come see her if help needed, I went & asked her for studying ideas. She said profs are not tutors, but that was not my question

She is amazing. Incredibly intelligent, and runs a very tight ship. If you want to learn, she's your pick. Very tough, but with the best intentions, if you work you'll earn what you deserve. She has an amazing passion for music history and conveys it better than anyone else. I have learned so much from her, I am forever in debt to her.

Dr. Ferencz is very organized. We go through a powerpoint every class. Assigns small readings for hw and like these 3 end of the chapter questions. Can use notes on all 3 exams plus finals! If you take good notes, it will be an easy A. Go to class. She gives out 2-3 points extra credit about once every 3 weeks.

Took summer on-line class. She was the BEST on-line prof. I've ever had because she would get back to our questions and comments on the same day. Very involved in the class. Made it fun and was very engaging. Would take any class she gave. Very knowledgeable. Great teacher who doesn't tolerate slackers but gives extra-credit so you can earn an A.

True, she's probably the hardest professor in the music department, but she knows her stuff and pushes people to do well. She doesn't tolerate laziness or attitude, so I can see why all the slackers hate her, but I think she is a great teacher.
