Not recommended. His exams are extremely long (over 50 questions w/ matching, multiple choice, and free response) and he only gives 1:15 to do it. his PowerPoint are EXTREMELY unhelpful. They do not help in studying at all. Got pretty decent grades in all exams (A,C,C,B) and assignments but still ended up with a low B . took FOREVER to post grades

The lectures are super long (took the class online) and full of really complicated material, which would be fine except the tests are insanely long, very specific and you have a limited amount of time. They are all short answer or select all that apply and they're really hard. The professor is really nice and helpful but he can only do so much

Very boring lecturer and material (unless you're interested in fungus). I took it for credit thinking it would be an easy A, and it's not very hard, but it is sooo difficult getting through the lectures PS. I took the online class and if you miss one, the material keeps stacking up. Do not take this class is you don't have to. Also

His lecture slides and handouts are not helpful for studying, so extensive note taking is required during class. The lab was really disorganized and it felt like he was just making it up as we went along. But he is very nice and very helful if you ask him questions or go to office hours. Just write down all due dates because he will forget them.
