Lots of reading but you can read 10 pages and just talk about that and you'll be fine. A few grades determined a huge majority of your grade though. pretty boring too

Hardest teacher I've ever taken at this school. She makes things much more difficult than they have to be! It seems like she doesnt put any effort in to what she is doing but she expects so much from her students. Definitely dont take if you dont have too.

This teacher is one of the worst at Post. Your grade is determined by maybe three or four papers/tests, which she takes a month to give back. It is impossible to know where you stand in the class, and she is a really, really harsh grader. I really wish I didn't take her class, so if you don't need to, don't!

Attie is at first not a bad teacher. While she can be opinioned, she's not always disrespectful. But as they say "professors work in mysterious ways". It's not that Attie is a tough grader, it's that she is pedantic in her methods and her topics often have redundant stuff, with essays that don't even really need to be longer than 2 pages tbh.

Attie is a great teacher, and class was very interesting, but she's flustered and the syllabus changes almost daily, which can be quite confusing. The work load is average, the reading is a bit much, and she's a tough grader. It helps your grade if you agree with her opinion.

Had Professor Attie for two graduate course. Disagreed completely with her politically but Professor Attie was fair and really informed. Her classroom discussions were lively and enlightening. If you do not want to read do not take graduate history courses.

She is the worst professor that I have ever had. She told me that I needed help with my grammar, meanwhile I recieved two A's in my English class. She has no time to help you cause "she's always busy" as she says. Worst professor EVER

VERY opinionated and holds a grudge if you happen to disagree with hers. Negative attitude. I had a 4.0 in graduate history until I took her class. Worked my butt off for a B+. BE CAREFUL if you take her class.
