I really liked Lisa! She seemed to really care about her students. Her lectures were clear and she explains things well. She wants her students to succeed. She is wiling to stay after class to help as much as you need. There is a lot of homework which I found helpful. She responds quickly to emails.

Comment:

This is hands down the best math professor Ive had. She's not your typical college math professor. She's not intimidating like most math professors. She's very soft spoken, but that made it a calmer less stressful learning environment. Also the fastest grading professor I've had. All around she's amazing at her job!! Highly recommend!!

Professor Sheppard is very caring about making sure her students understand and learn the material you can ask her any question and she will go over it in class or even after class. make sure you always show up, those that don't struggle because they miss out on great examples. Sheppard makes math easier and breaks it down very well

She is soft spoken with a great sense of humor. She explained the math well and the tests leaned on the easy side. She also provided practise tests for every test. Do. The. Practise. Tests. And you will survive.

Lisa is great! I had her for College Algebra and Business Calc. She is really good at explaining things and she's a pretty generous grader. She will clarify anything if you ask for help and I emailed her a few times over the course of both classes and she always answered in a timely manner. She's there to help you succeed!

I had her for 158 but theres not option for that yet. She is very nice and helpful. She knows how to teach. Shes very soft spoken and kind of dry but you will learn. She can be funny as well. Easy to talk to as well. As for the class, the material can be difficult. The website sucks. Don't buy the book. Get the ebook if anything.

I hate math and I dreaded that I had to take 071 and 081. Lisa is one of the best instructors, if not the best, that I've had at the college. She gives partial points as long as she can tell that you're on the right track with test questions. She gives extra credit. She's very understanding and flexible with your work schedule.

I've taken her for many Math classes now and she's great! Math is a hard subject anyway but she makes it easier! She will help you as much as she can! Don't miss class though because you'll get lost!

I absolutely LOVE Lisa. She is a sweet, humble and an easy to understand teacher. She makes learning Algebra so clear and less intimidating. I would definitely recommend taking her, even if the days or times that she teaches is not convienent for your schedule. Squeeze her in somehow.

Mrs. Sheppard was a pretty great teacher. She makes sure to leave room for any questions. Doesn't use the book at all. Homework is done online via mymathlab. I ended up leaving her class with an 'A'!

Lisa is the only math teacher I have had that has actually made me "get it". She has a great teaching style and she made me want to attend class. I wish I could have taken her for other math classes, but it just did not work with my schedule. If you have the chance to have Lisa as your teacher, take it! You will not regret the decision!

She is really sweet, soft spoken,fair grading even if the answer is wrong she will give u credit for trying, review test before hand! Approachable when taking test if I had a question about a particular promblem. Material wasn't easy but if u studied and keep up with it & turn all HW in you will succeed ! Attend class everyday cuz u will get lost!
