Great prof! She is very intellectual, helpful, and engaging. She was always willing to help or provide feedback on assignments. We had many interesting class discussions, and she made the environment friendly and comfortable. The course readings were interesting and she is really knowledgable in her field. Definitely recommend taking her classes!

I was actually mad every time I left class. This prof thinks her sense of humour can cover up her inability to teach. She literally told us that she kept losing track of what she was saying because of a book she was in the middle of writing. Stay away unless you like discussing LGTBQ issues for half a year. Total waste of my time/energy/money!!!

FANTASTIC teacher. Absolutely loved her, my TA was great too. Very willing to help. Has general due dates but lets students vote on extensions. Do 5 responses to homework and get 20% automatically. Then there's a film review, seminar and final exam. Really funny, engaging and clear! Wish I could take her again :(

Jen's an excellent teacher. I've learned so much from her. She has a way of helping you to see situations from a very different perspective. I've often left her class feeling high with knowledge. (I know that sounds retarded.. but it's true.)

She's really good. Nice, friendly, very understanding. Had a number of assignments due but they weren't difficult and she is a good marker. Funny...lectures a bit too much...but over all she gets an A
