Comment:

Professor Plunkett makes a really boring subject fun. His lectures are entertaining, but take GOOD NOTES!! The subjects he lectures on are scattered across different chapters in the book. Rely on notes for studying. His test can be difficult, but he curves the test grade. Tons of extra credit, don't be lazy. Test avg 80, with curve/extra credit 94

Comment:

I thought he was awesome as a person, but didn't enjoy him as a professor. His lectures are rather dry and unorganized. If you can follow his lectures, take good notes and read a lot then you will probably do fine. I didn't do too hot on the test, but managed to get an A thanks to the myriad of extra credit he offers.

Comment:

Great teacher. Sense of humor. Opportunity for extra credit. Gives outlines- use them! Take them to class and follow along with your notes AND in the book. His tests are not textbook definitions, they are definitions inside examples. Write down the examples he gives in class; I can't stress this enough. Pay attention on review day, he helps you. :)

He is awesome! He gives extra credit and is always very helpful. Gives outlines and is good at lecturing the material. The class is not extremely easy, but it is possible to make a good grade with the allocated effort. It is very seldom to find a professor that seems to care about the overall success of students as much as he does. Greatprofessor!

He is a very cool professor and his lectures are sometimes boring, but if you pay attention to his lectures and review days, then you will do fine. I would take him again for another class!

His class is very hard considering you have to read very in detail just to past his tests. He gives extra credit points but it still didn't help some people. Plus the class was to early in the morning, just stay away!!! TAKE CANO!!!!

Very laid back professor who wants his students to do well. Problem is, his tests are confusing and difficult to do well on. He will offer extra credit and his exam is optional (it can only help you...it wont hurt you).
