Professor Pacleb teaches at Cal Poly Pomona for this class. She is caring, but there are many things to read. But along with lectures, you will be able to take tests well if you study. There are group works and should work well. We had plenty of time to prepare. Know overall of the books, study with daily schedule, then she is the best for you!

Group Project, we had to make a video and not everyone is attuned to do something like that, hard. It was annoying. Lots of reading, a bit much, but I didn't really do it. The study guides I found were pointless. Not too hard, though! Lot of sources using, be prepared for that!!!!

I love Jocelyn. I didn't know all too much about Filipino/Americans and their struggles until I took her class. She really inspired me and to be proud that I am a filipina.

Took her Women Studies class. Generally boring, but easy and get to watch a lot of interesting videos. 1 midterm, 1 group presentation, 1 paper. She's a bit unorganized and inexperienced, but very very nice! Not bad and easy to do well if you try.

I took her for Asian American Women.Boring lectures.Only 1 exam (yay!). But 2 big projects: group class present'n, and 8-PAGE INTERVIEW paper,we must interview Asian American Woman. Projects took lots of time. If lively classmates, fun class. Else,a bore.
