Excellent instructor. Tends to be set in his ways though. Sometimes comes up with some bizarre things that make you wonder about possible dementia. Easy grader. One test at the end of the term and he goes over the material the class before the test and moments before the test. Great stories and experience to back them up.

Awesome guy. Knows his stuff. Has funny comments & personal stories to add to the content. Super nice...will happily help in any way and answer any question. Makes you responsible for a lot of information, but gave a clear study guide so you always knew what was expected.

Loved Dr. Farrar- found him and his argile sweaters very entertaining. I found his stories interesting and not boring. Some stories get repeated though. Very kind and very understanding. I got A's on everything except the final exam which brought my grade to an A. Overall- great professor. I would definitely take him again.

Nice guy, but strange way of grading. I felt like whether you worked really hard, or barely did anything... you could still get the same grade. He really knows his stuff. He was nice, but got cranky towards the end of the semester.

My favorite class and prof I have ever taken in college. Work is invovled but, as long as you do it you'll do fine. Dr. Farrar is helpful and kind to all of his students and loves to joke around. I recommend this class to anyone who is interisted in this field.

I love this class. There is a good deal of work involved, but as long as you try, you're going to get a decent grade. Dr. Farrar shares amazing, very pertinent stories to enhance the lecture. I am not bored at all in class; as a matter of fact, I'm usually left wishing there was more classtime for him to continue the lecture!
