He is an amazing professor and pushes his students to do their very best. He does assign a lot of assignments with few directions, which is because he wants students to be able to direct themselves and be independent leaders. If you don't want to work for your grade and in turn gain valuable skills take a different professor.

I was not impressed with this guy. Preferring to just throw long assignments at students with poorly defined expectations, he taught very little. He also had no problem deducting points on assignments if they lacked things that he had not requested in writing. I swear he didn't read half the stuff that I wrote for the long papers required.

Be prepared to do a lot of work in your group and also on your own. His class might have been a lot more difficult if I had a bad group, but I was lucky. Get the group work done as fast as possible so you have time for your individual paper and presentation preparation.

if you are taking 321 do not take him... dr. sype makes this class way more easier than it has to be. dr. dankwa makes this class absolutely intense and a c**** to go to everyday

You never have any homework except for the term paper (which is very easy, just long.) All the group work is stressful, but you always get it done in class. You have to be really dumb not to get at least a B in this class.

Didn't really lecture that many times. Mostly inclass exercises and essay exams. Two or three papers (long) and two written essay exams (insanely hard and unfair) along with more than a few "group projects". Avoid taking this professor at all cost. More work than he is worth.

Overall a good professor. Assignments are quite stressful. He doesn't seem to have a current text and never brought a book to class. Assigns a 30 page paper, and two in-class assignments that take up the whole class period. Has good experience.
