Lecture is boring. There are 2 midterms and weekly papers. The FINAL EXAM IS WORTH 50% OF THE GRADE,and I think I screwed up so bad. Not the best way to test students at all.

I couldn't comprehend her lectures. She'd make a point and then confuse the point by attempting to explain it further. I like the content, but the presentation was lacking. I would not have her as instructor again.

LOVED her. She is very helpful if you ask questions, and she goes over stuff very thoroughly. She made me really enjoy Philosophy and she really wants you to succeed. She's also quirky and fun to listen to.

This teacher is one of the worst ones I've ever had. She was boring and dragged on and on, she would go off on wild tangents that had nothing to do with philosophy, she was crazy!

Comment:
The subject is hard to understand and sometimes listening to her lecture can make me sleepy. But she is clear with her expectations and makes the subject easier and sometimes funny and interesting. Tests are graded on a curve too!

She is a crack up in class and her way of teaching just makes the class fun. The Final is cumulative but all the questions for everything that is not new on the final comes from the old tests, word for word with the choices mixed up, study that and you will ace at least 50% of the final. Take good notes as well.

She is nice and funny. She let's you use your books on the essay tests and is clear about what she wants. Awesome class, it made me actually like philosophy!!
