Great professor! She's funny and enthusiastic about what she's teaching + she uses good analogies despite the math being pretty abstract. The TA graded homework questions can be difficult though if you don't have any experience in writing proofs. Is a very fair grader and gives feedback.

Very helpful and willing to spend lots of time with students outside of class. Gave difficult tests but they were not unreasonable. Tough subject, but she helped the learning process.

Absolutely an amazing professor. She cares so much about her students it's amazing and she does an amazing job teaching. She totally listens to her students and respects them and by far one of my favorite professors at WSU. PS: please don't cheat in her classes, she is an amazing person and doesn't deserve that

Dr. McDonald was a wonderful teacher. She was very enthusiastic, and loved teaching this class. She always explained topics very well, and the exams were fair. She provided extra time on all exams, sometimes an extra hour or two. She was a fair exam grader as well.

She's probably one of my favorite teachers on campus. Her homework really helped prepare you for exams, and though her exams were rough, she curved them really nicely. Without a doubt, she's one of the best profs on campus. I highly recommend taking any of her classes if you ever get the chance.

Comment:
Not very rigorous. Can be sloppy. Very concernced that students learn material. Will take all the time necessary. Very accomodating with test. Tries to eliminate time as a factor in test taking. She would reserve a room and say come anytime you want between 5 and 9pm. You could come at 5 and take to 9 if you needed. Fair test. Lax grading.

Good: nice, approachable, wants you to do well, explains things well for the most part, easy tests. Bad: rarely got through problems without making mistakes, sloppy writing on overhead with no screen, would often start long problems with 1 minute of class left and then rush through them.
