Ambler is nice. Her lectures are given in a way that she dances around what she should say, the point, without actually saying it. However, the class is not difficult and she follows the book so studying is a breeze.

She's a nice enough lady, but her lectures are extremely dry. Pretty easy class, study for tests though! I also had her as my advisor, and she's not the best at that. Though she means well, she is largely unhelpful when it comes to questions that don't relate to the bio department. Overall, not the best, but not bad.

Can be confusing sometimes but she is always willing to help you understand in a nice, respectful manner. Don't be afraid to ask questions. You will learn in her classes if you show up, ask questions and pay attention to feedback. Really nice prof who loves her subject.

This woman is painful to listen to. I feel bad for her though, she's substituting for Yocom's biodiversity class for the rest of the semester and she's not doing a great job. She doesn't seem interested and is flustered. The students don't respect her and she can't gain their respect. It's sad.

Also I must agree that Dr. Ambler is the "nutty professor" very flustered and disorganized, but adventures are fun sometimes, right? She is a really nice lady, but she gives way to much work for just a 2 credit class. She answers your questions, but her grading doesn't always reflect that, points are always being taken off your assignment for unclear parts in her direction. I found it almost impossible to get anything higher than a B.
