Comment:

Prof. Turnbow really cares about her students! Her tests are very easy and she gives partial credit for shown work. Lots of homework but it really helps with her class. She can be very scattered brained and get off topic but she is very nice and I recommend you take her class! She will set you up for success.

Comment:

Best Math Professor at Collin College. She will work with you outside of class as long as you come to class. Do not expect to pass the class if you do not do your homework. She occasionally gives extra credit so be on time and come to class. She's also the most caring professor I have ever met in my life.

Comment:

Prof. Turnbow is one of the best teachers I've had over the course of my college career. Shes incredibly sweet and works so hard to help all her students understand the material, even staying late to have group study sessions. Lots of practice in class where you can ask questions and her tests are in the testing center with lots of extra credit.

She is a really sweet prof! and really cares for her students. If you are looking for an easy Algebra Class, I would not take this class, especially if you struggle with math. Although she is sweet , she is kinda disorganized and messy. She isn't the best at teaching math. Take this class if you are already good at math and you know what to do.

This professor is so amazing! I am not a math person at all, but I ended up with a 98% in the class because she helped me understand it so well. It was not an easy class, but she made sure that the work we did was relevant to what we were learning. I highly recommend taking this professor. You will not regret it.

Professor Turnbow is a great professor. I have struggled for years in math and she makes it seem like a breeze. She can be a little scatterbrained some days but if you can get past that I highly recommend her. She will go out of her way to help you reach your future goals, not just in math either. She is a stand-up person.

Comment:

Professor Turnbow is the best Math teacher. I wouldn't choose another Math teacher unless she didn't teach the class. She gives you plenty of opportunities for tutoring, extra credit. This class is combined with 0304. Which reviews the basics then moves into college algebra. She will help you in any way possible. Even on weekends. AMAZING!!

She really knows math, but makes mistakes when writing on the board. Students have to correct her. Really funny. Easy tests. Homework can be a little challenging, but can be taken again if needed. Labs are fairly simple. She learns everyone's names, and gives advice about college and classes in general.

Professor Turnbow is a real character. If you find the subject matter of Algebra to be difficult. In 0310, she constantly shifted the homework due dates to fit your needs not matter how behind you were. Same goes for the tests if you aren't prepared on the test day she will give you extra time to prepare yourself and get the help you need to pass.

Prof Turnbow is an amazing teacher; caring, and REALLY wants you to love Math! She is sweet, funny, and SO helpful. She was previously a 7th grader teacher, so her way of teaching is wonderful for newbies like me. She does not want anyone to feel uncomfortable, so it's a pretty laid back class. 4 exams and 1 final, labs due weekly, homework online.

She changed my life, I feared Algebra and she made it doable. I cried when I left her class with my final grade. People had thought I was too stupid my whole life and I made a B in college algebra because of HER!!

professor Turnbow is one of THE sweetest teachers. She will work with you in any situation and is VERY lenient. you can turn in something weeks later and she will still take it. LOT OF EXTRA CREDIT. There is no way you cannot make an A. Shes disorganized at times. She will help you get an A.

I have never taken this professor before, but the reputation this prof. carries is phenomenal. I had a replicable individual from the Frisco campus who sits in a very respectful position amongst other college employees who HIGHLY recommended Julie Turnbow. That speaks volume and I am very excited & anx to test the waters in her teaching enviroment

The best math teacher I've ever had. I came from a charter school and basically had to teach myself math throughout highschool (that didn't work). Professor Turnbow cares so much about her students and will help you with whatever you need WHEN ever you need it. Take her as she will ensure that you will succeed in math.
