I took Linda to satisfy my MACRAO courses and it was THE best decision. It is an online class, however, I felt more connected and comfortable with her than many and most of my face-to-face profs thus far. She will motivate, support, encourage and help you with ANYTHING! She answers emails speedy & grades assignments just as quick. 1000% recommended

Comment:

Loved having her as an English instructor. She was very clear, gave lots of examples, helped with building 'A' papers. If you got an okay grade, she gives second chances to improve grade by fixing mistakes. Attendance and participation is important.

If you need to finish up your humanities take this class with her. Women in Litt was so much fun. She grades so fast I don't see how she did it. Down to earth instructions to do assignments. TAKE HER!!!!

I highly recommend taking this class! Linda is extremely helpful and provides a ton of feedback. All of her assignments and expectations are very clearly communicated. I never waited more than a day for an assignment to be graded. She responds to emails really quickly too. It's a lot of work, but as long as you stay on task, it's a fairly easy A.

Overall, a good teacher. Very willing to help. My main issue with her is that she will ask for something specific, and when you give it to her, she will tell you that it is not what she was looking for. Had friends look over my papers based on what she wanted, and they too agreed that I did exactly as she said, even though she said I didn't.

Linda is one of the best professors I have ever had. She literally made writing enjoyable for me. She is so optimistic gives you the confidence to write well. Before I attended the class, my writing was average and because of her teaching it has blossomed. She is super helpful, super nice, and her class is easy.

Professor Boyton is an excellent professor and Eng 1720- Intro to Poetry & Drama is an good class. Do your assignments, stay on task, do the discussion board. If you do all that you will earn an A in the class. PS. there is alot of work in the short amount of time- so stay on task.

I took the ONLINE section of this course and was pleasantly surprised. She doesn't ask much, simply do the assignments she clearly lists each week, which, on average, took me less than 30 minutes. Put forth at least marginal effort and you will receive an 'A'. She is very accommodating, simply email her and she will help with any problem.

She is a great teacher!! I had her for one English class and made sure I had her for the next. She is very helpful! You can ask a question anytime and she will answer it with no problem. Boynton is one of the best teachers I have had :)If you do your work, you will earn a good grade.
