Katherine is a great person. I just don't think she's a great teacher. I would rate 3.5 if I could. I think she would excel more if THTR classes were a bit more limited to just people who act in the productions. She is a better director than a class teacher.

I've had multiple classes with Katherine and been in several of her shows. She truly cares about her students and makes an effort to get to know each one individually even if she only has them for one semester. Advanced Acting was a hard class, but she helped a lot and I ended up with an A even though I really struggled. Can't recommend enough! 3

Katherine is by far one of the best professors I've had so far. She is so understanding, and while she has a lot of other stuff going on in her life, she never takes it out on her students. She is very laid back, and I honestly felt comfortable doing our in-class performances. Great professor. If you are interested in theater, do NOT pass her up!

This class was very disorganized but very easy. I brought a project to class and she didn't even know it was due. Tests are pretty easy. You will definetly get an A and can breathe. Easy class but drove me crazy at times!
