R.I.P., professor Long. My heart broke when I heard this story. She had that much of an impact on me. She knew everyone's name. How many teachers are like that? She was so gay, a bit annoying like cheerleader like, but she CARED. it's hard to believe that anyone who was so alive is dead today. Sad, sad.

Just have to say she was THE RUDEST TEACHER I EVER HAD because I wasn't on her good side. I had a hard time with her fast talking and when I asked her to repeat herself she told me to "read the book" and she had to "press on" due to time while getting out of class early. Tried to ask her after class but was rejected there too. Made me feel stupid.

I really didnt care to much for her, she has a smart mouth at times, and unless you play sports she really doesnt acknowledge you at all. When you answer a question that is not right she makes you feel real dumb

This class was very easy for me. I got all the homework problems correct and understood the material perfectly, but her tests did NOT reflect the in class work...that's where my grade sunk and gave me my first below-B grade in college. She's a spunky funny person though, but talks really fast, so if you're slow, beware!

Great teacher that wants you to do good. Very nice lady. The dropped test sure does help out. Just do your homework and inclass problems and then study them for the test and you will be fine. It got me an A!

Prof Long is so sweet and very knowledgeable about accounting and finance, amonst other topics. she presents the material in a factual and unbiased manner, makes the class fun and interesting, and cares about her students and their lives. Gives great advice, and allows one to come to another section of the same class if need be. Very motherly.

Took her for a summer class. Assigns homework frequently, and uses it for a grade. DO IT, it's not hard, and it's exactly what is on the test. Shows favoritism to Acct majors, but is a good teacher who wants to help if you want to learn. Enjoys lecturing about how she thinks the college experience, and older students will want to tune her out.

I'm not a huge fan of her teaching style, but if you're a serious, dedicated student, she wants to help. She shows some favoritism toward Accounting majors, but I never saw that come through in her grading. Just like any Accounting class, DO YOUR HOMEWORK!

Professor Long is nice enough but sometimes I felt like she was very disorganized. If you have questions, she may answer in class one more time, but best bet is to call her or go see her in her office. The tests are not that bad, but you must study some. She will help if you take the initiative.

Just got done taking the hardest final ever, and she got mad at a few of us and made the final even harder because of it. She's very emotional and she grades on if she likes you or not so at least act nice to her, and you might have a chance. She gets mad at you if you miss a test, even though you can miss a test for ANY REASON in that class.

Great Teacher, She can definitely teach. She presents the material very clearly, and her tests only cover two chapters at a time, so I would recommend her if you are taking an accounting class. She does make you do homeowork though for a grade, but it's not terribly exhausting. Take Her!

I feel like Mrs. Long makes her class as easy as they can be. She is very clear and logical. Yes, you have to study a little and you might have to memorize a little to but I would definetly recommend he to anyone. If kids say she is unfair or hard it is because they didn't study and they didn't try. Buy the book No attendance policy but go!

She taught the whole class a certain way to do high-low problems and then failed 20 people on the test stating it was the wrong way and that it was our fault because we should study harder.
