I'm surprised by all the so-so feedback Prof. Holt has gotten thus far. I think she is a fantastic prof. and would take her again in a heartbeat. She is a little distractible but when she gets off her subject topic it is in answering questions students have proposed. She is fantastic and a cute sense of humor. Def take her if you can. You will like

Not too much actual homework, but we basically read our entire textbook cover to cover. Assignments are graded very easily. She is very fun and personable. Easily distracted, maybe... but her class was one of my favorites and I got a lot out of the class that will be useful in the future.

She is inarticulate, easily distracted, unreliable, and does nothing to actually prepare teachers for the classroom. She shouldn't teach junior high.

Personable but easily distracted. Attendance is a BIG deal. She allowed open notes on the final. Be ready to hear chapter and verse about the recent teacher's strike-interesting, but not related to the objectives of the course. Very easy grader.
