Ken is a fairly entertaining lecturer, but his PowerPoints are so poorly setup that it's hard to follow him. I found it better to just learn from reading the textbook, so I stopped listening to the lectures around halfway through.

Favorite professor at Penn State so far. Professor Pasch is hilarious and I enjoyed the lecture. This class can be tough so go to lab session, Tuesday review session and office hours if you can.

Ken is how I wish all professors were, He is a gem! Accounting being a hybrid class I took online. I went to class a couple of times but the professors were not as organized as Ken. He is the best and made all the busy work of accounting do-able. No need to read book if you watch and do the problems that Ken shows online. Its a shame he retired.

I would def recommend sticking with Ken in Acctg 211. He has been in the industry and is very clear on the material. Read thru the book before the lecture, jot down the vocabulary, and practice the problems. Some of the sections are pretty tough, but he's very helpful and the help is there if you look for it! Biggest tip is to practice and study.

Ken Pasch is an excellent professor, just slightly hard to access. You have better opportunities getting help through TAs and liaisons over Pasch himself. Class is hard but if you dedicate the time to learn the material, Pasch has it designed to be beneficial beyond the confines of the class itself.

I don't think i've ever disliked anything more than this class. It's just painful. There's a lot of material and it is very fast paced. However, there are plenty of ways to get help. Lectures, TA lab sessions and weekly reviews are optional. I went to everything and i think it was helpful. Study,Make friends, do the case study and you'll survive!

Not a hard class, but it's a lot of work. Lectures aren't particularly helpful. Isn't trying to trick or fail students. Tests are way easier than expected.

Even if you signed up for an online section, GO TO CLASS!! You can choose any lecture to attend. I have 0 interest in accounting but I found it a lot easier to pay attention and retain information "live" compared to the boring videos online. The videos should be a review if you are unsure about what was discussed in class.

The Man! Do exactly as he says and get help when you need it. Your effort basically represents your grade. It can be difficult if you do not do these things, which is why many consider this class hard. If you choose to go to class, go to Pasch because he doesn't force it down your throat like Collins does. Awesome prof!

Ken is an awesome guy! the class was pretty straight forward. The exams were more based on problems than concepts. You have 5% extra credit opportunity and if you need help you can always go to one of the TAs or his office hours. They are very helpful.

This class is not as difficult as people say it is. Watch the podcasts and follow along with what he says. If you do not understand something E-mail him and he will happily help you. Lion tutors are a good resource to look for if you are struggling. Don't expect to do well solely on Lion Tutors though

Acctg 211 is not as hard as people think it is. Clearly people do not take advantage of the materials, videos, and one on one time made available by Ken. Do what he says, follow his roadmap weekly, and there is no reason you can't do well. His online podcasts are awesome. Great guy great teacher

Very time consuming, challenging class. Make sure your mind is clear and you are focused for this class and the work that comes with it. Nothing out of the ordinary. Ken is very clear and offers a lot of help. If you don't do well in this class with all the help available, you didn't use your resources well enough.

This class is very tough, either you get it or you don't. I took it online and I recommend that because going to class is basically the same as online since it is very confusing. Get the lion tutors and study them over and over again.

Going go tuesday class is pointless. My advice: go to the intro lectures, go to lab, find a quiz buddy and get help from Liontutors before exams and you'll be fine. Ken is just lazy to teach...

Acctg 211 is overrated. Its not as hard as people say and you don't ever need to go to class. Ken is a good instructor but he gives you way too many resources and its overwhelming. He recommends you follow a daily study path which is beyond absurd because who has time for that.

Use the weekly road map if you want to do well in the class. Make sure you read and do the practice problems and use myaccountinglab for extra practice. Its a lot to keep up with but it paid off for me. Pasch is helpful during his office hours. I also went to Liontutors, they were helpful when exam time came.

Ken Pasch is a control freak. He does not care about his students' learning of the material; he only cares about being the center of attention and being right.
