Comment:

Professor Keri is amazing. She let the atmosphere of the class passionate, active, and joyful. The subjects for the three essays were narrative of one's own, argumentative essay regarding technology, and a portrait of language (of a specific group of people). Also, we had a final exam which only 10%. No stress, no rush, but relaxing class.

The easiest teacher I have ever seen. I get 93, 95 and 100 for all three papers throughout the semester. Show up and pass the class. I don't even spend time in her class and have no involvement. You write good essay and get A.

She's a nice teacher. Grammar matters the most in grading paper. If you don't have much grammar errors, you can get very good grades, even 100%. An easy grader.

She is the best english teacher I have ever had. She make herself available to read your drafts outside of class during office hours. Cares a lot about the student as long as they show effort. She wants you to succeed and enjoy her class. Highly recommend her. You'll learn a lot and improve your writing.

Keri is definitely one of the best profs I took in US. She's nice, patient, and inspirational. Lectures are amazing. There're three essays; one is 10% of the total grade and the other two are 15% each. One novel is required to read, do a group presentation and final as well. All in all, she's awesome and will definitely recommend!!

Keri is a very very nice and patient professor, she is the best english teacher that I had in DVC so far. Easy class (English 117A), she is very helping w/ the international student. 3 quizzes, 3 essays, 1 book to read, 1 portfolio about the essays I made (pretty easy) and the final is about the book. Keri is very helpful and she won't let you fail

ESL-117A is a new course starts at Spring 2016. Keri is amazing! As long as you keep work hard, you will learn a lot and prepare yourself to ENGL-122. Three essay, around three weeks for each one. And a novel to read. Personally I will take her again, but sadly she is not teaching ENGL-122 and ENGL-126 in the future. However, ESL-117A, great class

Keri is one of the best teachers. she will help you develop good writing skills she gives good feedback on your essays, but be ready to read A LOT! she loves essays so with that said be ready to write lol. not the easiest but that's what she wants. she wants to challenge u and on the way make u a better writer if u miss class she'll hunt u down jk!

Keri is SO awesome! I love her! I think she is the nicest/most helpful teachers out there. she really cares about her students and is willing to help you improve. Im so happy I had her as a teacher/new puente teacher (: I highly recommend her. She helped me develop as a writer and develop my voice in my writing. Thank you.

This was one of the best classes i've taken. She was so nice and understanding. The class was fair and I have never learned so much. The book is necessary and you do have to study but there is a study guide. Great class, I highly recommend it.

Had Keri for 122 and 126. Best experience I've ever had with a teacher at DVC. She's inspiring and very helpful. She's sweet and understanding. Take her class, you'll learn, gain confidence, broaden your knowledge, and perhaps even have a friendship with her!
