Great guy, knows SOC, truly cares. Notes are easy to follow. Read the book to pass quizzes, but a leniant grading scale. Encourages debates in class:Don't hold back, speak up for participation points. Not opinionated, just likes to start debates. Very approachable, especially after class. Didn't know what SOC was, now headed for SOC in Grad School.

He is not a good teacher and he will drop you after 2 absences, and he doesnt teach you, all he does is assigns you a chapter and he doesnt even lecture. my advice is dont take his class, he doesnt speak clearly and he makes the class very boring.!!

He is a great teacher. Sociology was interesting to me because of the way that he presented the information. I took this course during the summer and I never found myself wishing class was over. I really enjoyed the class and Mr. Zalloua; he has a great sense of humor.

Great teacher. One of the smartest individuals I have ever met. Great lectures and very respectful. Not a very easy class, but the interest level is really high so it shouldnt be very difficult. HIGHLY recommend this class.

Excellant Teacher! However, since this whole class is talking about controversial issues, there are many times when he explains his opinions well, and he'll be openminded, BUT, there are also other times when he forces his opinion on you without the telling the whole story. So you agree with him one day, and the next day be completely offended!

Took this class while still in high school, didn't go to Cuyamaca for another 2 years. First day on campus I passed him and he remembered my name and everything. Great teacher, makes learning about other cultures INTERESTING. Highly recommended.

Great teacher and funny. A lot of people are close minded and think him close minded. But thats because they are imature. It really bugged me. But Mounir is really easy to talk to and he is actually willing to think about your opinion if you actually explain it well and at least come up with one good point.

Mounir is really a good teacher... hes very open minded and stands opinionated, but willing to back up his beliefs but not force them upon you either... so far i've had a good time in his class... and his accent makes him more understandable at 9 in the morning

Mounir is very willing to work with students, gives out study notes and even willing to meet with study groups and gives extra credit. I found this class very interesting and fun. Mr.Zalloua is extremely unapproachable and closed minded. Teachers are supposed to respect the opinions of others and not try to sway students into their own beliefs. I was so excited to take sociology but his egotistical attititude turned me off to te subject.

This professor made this class very interesting and exciting. In my opinion, most classes taken in three weeks, tend to be stressful; however, Mounir's class was quite a no-stress learning experience. My personal thanks to Mounir, and I do hope to see him in the near future.
