Comment:

Teaches as if he's performing magic tricks. He's conceited and impressed by himself. His ability to explain the "magic" is clearly deficient. I didn't pay for a magic show. I paid to further my understanding of mathematics. There's no way this class could justify it's price with him teaching it.

Absolutely horrible. Senile., bad breath, talk in circles to and doesn't directly answer questions. Limited scope of knowledge. He seems like he forgot his understanding of due to age and just throws his lessons together the night before to make it through teaching the class.

Comment:

Sweetheart of a man! Willing to help out students. Easiest class to take if you are good at math. If you struggle with math, i would recommend to also go to the math lab for extra help after class. Don't be afraid to ask questions, because he will help you out. If he taught Math 153, would have taken his class again.

Prof. Behler is seriously one of the best math teachers I've ever had, it's a shame he's rated so low. If you're halfway decent at math, this class is a cakewalk. Homework is optional, he lets you use a cheat sheet on tests, quizzes and exams often have extra credit included, projects are easy, and all in-class assignments are done in groups.

I took him for Math 152, and it was the worst mistake EVER. If you have trouble with math, DO NOT take him. He does let you use a cheat sheet during the test, but if you have no idea what's going on it's point less. I would not recommend him. He doesn't show you how to do things on the calculator, he expects you to just know how to do everything.

Definitely one of the better math teachers I've had. He's pretty clear for the most part. Also for tests he lets you make a cheat sheet, and you get extra credit if you hand it in with the test. Pretty awesome if you ask me.

Awesome professor. Tests and quizzes are from homework assignments. Allows time to ask questions before class about any problems. I highly recommend Behler. He wants his students to succeed.

One of the worst teachers I have ever had! He made things so confusing, he made it difficult to understand, and his tests were harder than they should have been. If you have trouble with math I would not recommend him.

This teacher is so hard to understand. Nothing he says makes sense. His tests are ridiculously hard. I had no idea what was going on in this class. He is very honest, but not encouraging in any way. He doesn't mean to be rude, but he definitely comes extremely rude.

The nicest guy I have ever encountered. He really cares abnout his students and wants them to do good for the class. He also gives lots of oppurtunities for extra credits and bonus questions. He tells cheesy jokes to relax the students prior to exams. Although he is not that easy to understand sometimes. And the textbood is not helpful at all.

Mr. Behler is an awesome math teacher. He's very clear and he makes sure the entire class understands before he moves on. He's more than willing to work with you & answer any questions you might have. Homework completion is not mandatory, he just wants you to know what you're doing. He's a genuinely nice man who will help you when needed.I really needed help w/ my final test & he helped a whole lot. I did pass! The labs suck because when the lesson's over, you just want to go home, not stay & do a lab, but he puts you in groups so that speeds it up. He really is helpful.

extremely involved with knowing the class, whether it would be from body language or names, he could pick it up. if you want to learn he will teach and spend as much time as you need, great class control as well. makes sure that everyone is involved. he wears socks with flip flops and has cheesy jokes.

I slept through 80% of trig. I did fair in math in high school. I had forgotten some material seen while skimming the syllabus. If I felt uneasy about a section, I stayed awake that day to relearn it. I did 1 homework from the text, before I knew it wasn't graded. Getting through his class is up to you. If you care to learn, he will care to teach.

Prof Behler is a great a teacher. all hes test and quiz questions are all the homework questions. he drops the lowest quiz grade.The last 2 weeks of the class all the labs and quizzes you do are extra credit.if you showup to the last 2weeks of class and not miss one you get an extra 48points added to your final average. Great guy overall!

strongly recommend him. he was great. he made sure you understood what he was teaching. you must have a textbook. test and quizes are fairly easy if you do the homework. i wanted to take him again for math152 but it didnt fit in with my schedule.

Math is my subject. I love it! I had a B+ in this class which was bad.. for me. The last week or two, that grade dropped to a D! All of the sudden he decided he was going to rush things because of snow days months earlier. compete BS! I am currently taking this class over with a different teacher. So far, so good!

Let me just say this, an i think this says it all. I took this guy and had a 56, i took the same class with a diffrent person, and got a A in it. Enough said
