Comment:
She is super confusing. She'll tell you what she wants an assignment to be like and will tell you it's exactly what she wanted but then turn around a few days later and say you need to restart it because none of it is what she wants. She does not at all practice what she teaches. She's teaching about how to be a great teacher, but doesn't do it.

Lalita has improved a lot. She has her own views on things and makes it clear when she does not agree. Overall, she not a bad professor and her class was pretty straightfoward.

Comment:
VERY rude & out of touch with reality. She will ask for input/opinions then disregard everything you say. Doesn't care about anyone's opinion but her own. Supposed to be an intro course but expects you to put her class above everything in your life. Very unclear with instruction. I felt like at times we were expected to read her mind.

She is very unorganized and unspecific about what she expects in assignments then gets upset when it's not done correctly. She tries to use D2L for everything yet doesn't seem to know how. She doesn't care about anyone's opinion besides her own.

Comment:
She is very unorganized, all over the place. She gives a lot of homework but is very unclear with directions and grades harshly. She tries to use D2L extensively, but has no idea how, which leaves students very confused on what to do. Also requires daily participation in group discussions (she draws sticks). also Rude and opinionated

Comment:
If you can, take this with a different prof. What should be an introductory-level class, she makes extremely confusing. She has no clue how to use D2L, yet insists upon trying to use it extensively. It is a mess. Repeat what she says back to her and you'll do OK. Don't try to bring up a unique perspective unless you want her to talk down to you.

By far the worst professor I have ever had. Rude & unorganized. If you are stressed easily do not take this class, she is all over the place. Do not state your opinion, agree with whatever she says, and you should be fine. PS. dont bring in any amelia bedila books, apparently they are innapropriate.

Great teacher, lots of hard work but it pays off in the end. I have learned and continue to learn a lot. She is very willing to help you if you are proactive about it. You actually do use your textbooks in this class.

HORRIBLE. The rudest person in the whole world. Talks about herself all the time. Thinks she is super smart... Not so much. Gave the dullest assignments ever. DON'T ever state your opinon in this class if it differs from hers... Your grade will reflect it. Wanted to kill myself (as did everyone) all semester.

very unclear about directions. changes the assignments a lot. overpowered the other teacher. doesn't let you know what grade you're getting. only talks about gender and racial inequality rather than PHILOSOPHY. must agree with her or she'll TRY to prove you wrong. did not like her teaching style at all!

Lots of busy work. Be prepared. The classes go on FOREVER. She likes to listen to herself talk and thinks she's really intelligent. It's not a dreadful class if you have people in the class you like, otherwise, good luck going through it alone. It would almost be near to impossible. Though I hear to take Subramanyan rather than Davis.

Work Prof. I've ever had!! Philosophy class that she uses to structure entirely around Gender... it's supposed to be a diversity course. She is very rude to students and told me one of my papers was a complete disappointment!! Does not motivate or encourage students, doesn't know the meaning of constructive critism.
