The worst professor I've ever attended class with. Literally doesn't care about the student at all. Very selfish professor who's just there to get his paycheck. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS!

Hes a very nice and caring teacher. His class is super easy. Really just do the work/study and youll pass. But in all honesty his lectures are pretty boring so I probably wouldnt take his class again.

He has super boring lectures and is one of those teachers who just isn't very tech savvy or aware of his surroundings. He never takes attendance and all the material is out of the book word for word. The tests are not easy but the test will be almost exactly what's on the practice test so just come on review day and study the practice test.

such a good guy and a great teacher love Mr. Christian! would take any of his classes again. Cares abut his students and has clear grading criteria. He also provides a study guide for each test.

I took this class during intersession. He has a friendly attitude and is very passionate. He's a bit nerdy but in a cool way. He assigned hw frequently. EC was offered and he provided a study guide before the final. Take notes and ask a lot of questions about the study guide because the final exam is very similar.

I took Mr. Christen for two different class, but most recently astronomy. He's a decent professor. He's a little eccentric but overall very friendly and willing to help you if need it. His class is fairly easy and not a lot of homework is involved. His lectures are boring and dry but if you listen you'll learn quite a bit.

Good teacher, easy class. Only had 2 homework assignments, 2 midterms, 1 paper, and 1 final. I got an A and B on my midterms.. and I only got a B grade. Speak up in class and you're guaranteed an A

Mr. Oliver is highly inteligent when he lectures. Ocean 10 is not an easy class. But I recomend this teacher for Oceanography 10. Excellent teacher fair to all races like it should be.

He is awesome! I have never liked science at all but I LOVED this class... he made it so interesting and was always willing to help students and answer any question. He is really passionate about his subjects and wants the students to really understand and learn and get a good grade. Take him!

This class was super easy and straight forward. If you get the older edition textbook, make sure to come to all the lectures, because the new edition has a chapter 16 and the exams are based off of the lectures and videos. He's a very nice and understanding teacher but he goes off topic and kind of rambles.. Easy A none the less.

Took this course last summer as a HS sophomore. The way he teaches and talks amuses me:P Gets off topic often. But I think he's a good teacher. Extremely easy (I was on FB the whole time, &got an A+), &pretty passionate. Few simple HW assignments, one essay, final & midterm. Has whole study review day before the tests. Almost gives all the answers.

An excellent professor. He is nice, smart, and definitely knows his stuff. His lectures are clear and ez to understand. He answers all questions thoroughly. 2 tests(25quests ea), a final and a research paper you choose the topic. I really liked his style and would recommend anyone to take his class. He has a quirky personality that grows on you!!

I couldn?t stand him. I had to drop the class half way through. His lectures are somewhat on topic but most of the time he goes off on tangents and really just talks about himself. I learned absolutely nothing in his class. What ever you do, do not take him! Half way through the semester 80% of the class was gone.

Awesome guy, very passionate about the material. I found his teaching style/humor very amusing. A mix between rain man and dr. frink from the simpsons. I learned a lot and respect Mr. Chirsten for being awesome

The professor is very helpful and generous with extra credits. There are a total of 2 Midterms one Final, and a research paper: all are worth 100 points each. Does a major curve to the overall grade 85%-100% = A. I will highly suggest you to attend classes, read the textbook, and know your terms... If not, tests can be difficult.

Comment:

He is definitely passionate about what he teaches. His lectures are always interesting. The tests were a piece of cake if you take good notes and make sure to go on review days. He's nerdy and dorky in a cute way. Haha. I think some students try to take advantage of him because he's just too nice.
