Comment:

Had Crimm when he was "tag-teaming" the teaching because Chakravarty couldn't come for the Thursday afternoon class. This was the most unorganized, convoluted, and worst class that I have ever had the displeasure of taking at Kennesaw. The 'optional' class presentation is now required (3 days before the due date) and worth 10% of your grade. :))

I'm taking him right now for EE2501. Very genuine, cares about the class. Will extend deadlines when class seems like they're struggling. Prompt with email replies, and is a lenient grader. Class always struggles. Does not teach. Think of him a tutor and be more successful. Always off-topic in class. Unorganized. Graded topics not covered in class

He was good for this simple EE1000 class; he made some of the quizzes we had much harder than they should be. Goofs off a lot (wRitnG lIke THs sOmeTImEs) in class, quizzes, emails, etc. Pretty interesting guy though. I wouldn't say he is a bad teacher, but I do not know how I would like him in an actual class setting as opposed to this gimme class

I thought he was funny, and I did actually learn a lot despite him being a bit of a joker for this 1 credit class. Attendance kind of matters, but not really? He does not show up sometimes either so this is why I am on the fence about attendance. He cares for his students for sure. I would take him for an easy A for EE1000.

Comment:

Crimm's classes are bizarre. His material is a mixture of the last week's review, a little new stuff, and whatever he happens to be thinking about that day. He goes off on funny tangents while trying really hard to tie it back in. He seems to like group projects, which almost never go well. Overall, he's easy; just sit back and enjoy the madness.

Crimm is an amazing professor who is there for his students. Have a question? Ask. You'll get an answer and then some. The tests are tough, but there for you to learn from them. Grading is fair, but bonus credit is given like crazy. If you attend lectures and pay attention, you'll be fine. Lectures are fun, interesting, and a little crazy.

Do NOT take him if you actually want to learn how to be effective in your field, you're more likely to learn about when he worked at Apple. Tests come out of left field and are a waste of time to take and study for. He cannot manage a classroom or himself, and hands out grades to compensate. Skips whole chapters and expects homework from them.

I've taken Crimm for three courses: Professional Practice, Eng. Ethics and Intro to EE. All three of these courses are 'gimme' grades. Prof. Practice and Ethics are both online andor hybrid optional classonline. Crimm knows these courses are a waste of time and treats them accordingly. He's a good guy & if you participate you'll do well.

Gave answers to quizzes in class, gave extensions like crazy. Cares about students. Don't have to read textbook, I wouldn't even buy it. Soldering was my favorite part, but the lab was awful as we didn't go over it enough to understand the concepts. Overall, good professor for this course, but I'm not sure if I would take him for a higher level EE

I just graduated in EE and this is the BEST prof to take at SPSU! Be sure to take him at least once. I had him for 1000, 2501, 4701, and 4800. He helped me find a job and just goes out of his way for students. Crimm is super challenging but you really learn a ton and are prepared for the real world.

This guy is quite possibly the worst professor I have ever encountered. He teaches absolutely nothing. You'll spend most of class talking about his life story rather than preparing for his god awful quizzes. Oh and good luck navigating his d2l page. Also be ready for a last minute research paper that he assigns days before finals... So bad.

Fun Teacher. It was an introduction class, but assignments were kept to a minimum and we all (I think) passed easily. If you want to take SPSU 1001, take him, he's probably the best option available.

While the class itself is a 1-hour online class, Crimm did a great job at explaining everything. Vey cool and "real" guy. I catch him playing raquetball all of the time and he's always willing to talk. He also makes sure to only "sweat" the big stuff, something most professors can't seem to understand.

AMAZING TEACHER! I had this prof for EE1000 and then also for Circuits. I plan to take Crimm for many more. He keeps the learning fun and interesting. These other guys have no idea how Crimm makes complex material so understandable. The stories and illustrations he gives in class is so helpful in learning the material.
