honestly really great i took in her in the winter and there was only 5 sessions, but she did a really good job in making the class not boring. Weekly quizes at home.

Comment:

She gave a lot of extra credit and the lectures were interesting to me. However, she hardly gave full credit for discussions despite her stated expectations being fulfilled. Also, the subjective final exam is impossible to complete in time without typing it all out beforehand. Despite that, she does a good job of directing you in kines.

She is a tough grader and lectures throughout the whole class time. She does require you work with a partner a lot of the time, she does have some labs and a project at the end of the semester. The project isnt hard once you get started, it does seem like a lot but it isnt.

She's pretty straight forward with what she expects & tells you discussion grading will be the hardest. If a non Kin. student can't grasp what you're trying to say - its not detailed enough. *EVERYTHING on the exams are in the final & she uses the same discussions. Attendance is important, especially lab days. This was a summer/hybrid course.

She doesn't like to give a full credit in assignments. It goes against her own rubric. Her lectures are based only in counseling and You Tube videos from other professors. Her quizzes are not related to her lectures. Basically, you will educate by yourself. Her first online quiz is based on her qualifications. Too much EGO!

Hooper is not a horrible instructor she tells you how it is straight forward. She is not difficult but her grading for disscussions is heavy. She tells you what she wants in the questions but then when she grades, she looks for something else which makes it hard to get full credit. Lectures off topic.

Her quizzes are super hard. She claims that the questions on her final are exactly the same questions as the quizzes. I found maybe 5 out of 65 questions. There are 15 essay questions that she goes over during for the final. You have to work on the essays before starting the final. Essay questions took me 9 hrs to complete. Final is timed.

I am still currently taking her online health 100 class and I cannot believe how ridiculous it is. I studied through the text, the lectures, watched the videos, and ended up failing my first test because it was all irrelevant material. She doesn't post discussion boards on time. She rants about things in her announcements. Doesn't respond to emails

This teacher doesn't respond to emails when she should, and when she does she makes sure to include an excuse. I had a project that she inputted wrong halfway through the semester. I sent her multiple emails asking to change it and even though she reassured me 3 times (I emailed 20 times) she would fix it, she didn't. It cost me an A in the class.

She is an amazing teacher! Its impossible to fail this class since she has a blackboard account and gives you notes in class! Make sure to complete all assignments that she gives you since thats were most of her points come from besides her tests.Take her!

Loved her class. Took stretching for relaxation and she taught us how to meditate at the end of the class. She definitely knew what she was doing and her class definitely increased my flexibility from start to finish and helped me to unwind

Worst online class ever!!! Exams are super hard and she will not give them back to see where you made mistakes. Study guides have nothing to do with the exams. Lots of T/F questions and 4 or 5 essay questions each test with little time to answer.Does not answer emails quickly or at all. Exams, handouts and the book do not match up.

Don't take her online class! It takes her forever to grade anything. Her tests don't match her lectures and it makes them difficult! She sent me a strange rant that had nothing to do with the assignment and it made me a little uncomfortable.

DONT TAKE ONLINE!!!!!Tests are harder than her outline. The discussion boards are easy, but she puts them up late (the day due), or forgets to. Need to view two movies, but unavialable for free need to pay to watch. Then she missed both live chats. Responds to emails late, if she responds at all. I do not think you should tak this online.

Toke online class. Discussion boards are easy, if they are there. Sometimes a little late on putting assignments up, answers emails slow, and seems distracted. Exams are harder than just info in the book and ectures. Need to buy two films to discuss.

Really cool teacher. Very nice and knows the subject well. Makes class a lot of fun. Offers alot of extra credit but takes are every 2 weeks. Be prepared to study for the exams they can be a little difficult..other than that I really enjoyed her class, great person
