Comment:

Mrs. Craig is simply one of the best professors at DCC truly a gem. She developed with in me a passion for art and gives great lectures. I highly recommend if you're interested in art history

Mrs. Craig is simply one of the best people you will ever meet. However note taking and attending lectures is mandatory. She is very funny and can easily be accessed outside of class. I highly recommend this class to anybody and everybody

I take her class online and it is a lot of work, as the discussions and responses require a lot of detail but if you put in the time and effort you will be just fine. I knew nothing about art and I have an A in the class just from taking my time with her assignments. Basically if you do the work, you will pass. She is great, but fair!

One of the best teachers I've ever had very approachable. flashcards helped a ton in this class. Highly recommend to anyone in general she is very funny and informative a rare quality in most teachers

Comment:

She's a great person, but her class is very tough. Especially if you're just taking this class to fill a gen-ed requirement. You have to memorize 35+ images for tests which include the name,date,period and sub-period for each image. Then you have to write two mini essays, way too much work for a 101 class.

Get ready to study, big time. If you make yourself some study packets, you will be fine. However, the tests are a little bit ridiculous. I remember at one point we had to memorize about 40 paintings for a single test. And, theres always 2 essays on every test. Its way too much. She is pretty nice though, and funny too.

Comment:

Craig is one the best professors you will meet in your college career. She truly knows the information and shows dedication in the subject and her students. Flash cards and studying are imperative to pass. Participation is key to stay engaged and get extra points. I only wished that she posted more stuff on blackboard, just to be more accessible.

Got the grade I received because I misssed 2 assignments within the semester. Although Margaret is very sweet and responsive, the due dates were not chalet posted. You have to dig through a folder to find the due dates. 3 essays are required and the responses require a lot of detail, but otherwise it was an interesting class!

She is really nice and her classes are interesting. However, she requires you to memorize too much information and without the extra credit activities it's impossible to get a decent grade. Also, she is a really tough grader.

Professor Craig is not the easiest of professors, but certainly a great teacher. She is hilarious, and professional. You must read and study in order to pass this class. Attending class is a must, otherwise she will hound you to email her. I would definitely recommend taking a class with her if you need/want to take an art class.

I took the online version of ART103, Art of China, Japan, and India and I am glad I did. Mrs. Craig was very nice and informative in her class announcements and notes. Reading only makes the work easier and provides a lot of the answers for discussions, tests, and essays. The class is VERY involved for an online 100 level, but is very passable.

If you are going to rate Mrs. Craig rate her with honesty. She is there at ALL times when you need her, One of the best teachers on campus. She is easy going and fun to be around. I am going to miss her but I will take all that she has taught me with me to my next school. I recommend to take her class to every student I came across, she is awesome!

One of the best Teachers on campus is Mrs. Craig. I recommended her to everyone I came across, she knows her stuff and she is there when you need her. I had her for Art 101, 102, 103 & 260 she is awesome... If you take any of her class go to the MET with her you will not regret it.. and that's my word. what you put in is what you get out of it!

CRAIG SHE IS MY FAVORITE TEACHER ON CAMPUS, I TOOK THIS CLASS IT WAS HARD, BUT WELL WORTH IT, I NOW HAVE A CLEAR UNDERSTANDING ABOUT THE ART, SHE IS THERE FOR YOU, SHE TALKS TO YOU SHE DOESN'T WANT ANY OF HER STUDENTS TO FAIL, IT IS UP TO YOU TO DO THE WORK AND PASS HER CLASS NO EXCUSES! I just adore Mrs. Craig. I've been in her class for a whole year for ART 101, 102, and ART 103. If you're determined enough, she'll be determined with you. She'll walk you through from start to finish. ART 103 was the biggest challenge, but I managed to succeed. I've learned so much from this course. Japan was my favorite due to the painted screens

I love Margaret Craig. There's a reason why everyone loves her, shes incredibly knowledgeable and makes everything interesting. She's hilarious and gives plenty of extra credit. The classes she teaches are hard but she is amazing and the classes are worth it.

Fantastic professor. Took ART 101. First example I didn't fully understand how her exams were set up so I failed it. I wanted to drop the class, but thankfully I stuck to it and past her class with a B+. Never miss class. Take notes whether she's writing on the board or not. Even information counts. This is a visual learning art history class.
