Dr. Margulies is an excellent professor who really cares about his students. He's very knowledgable in the math and really helps you if you get lost. He explains the material very well and puts plenty of examples on the board for students to follow. Just show up to class, take good notes, review your notes, and you'll do great! Good Luck!

The worst teacher I've ever had in my life. The only thing he has going for him is that he's a nice old man. Other than that, he CANNOT TEACH. He does a lot of math in his head, has the most illegible writing ever (TRUST ME)and constantly makes errors. However, easy A or B because of heavy curving.

Very easy teacher.Has terrible and writing, so you don't attend class because YouTube teaches better.Very generous curve, 25% is a C and an A is >75%.2 midterms and 1 finals. HW is mandatory to get points which he does not check.

His exams are so hard, the way he word thing are so different from the homework problems. I got a C in his class with little effort. I hope he teach MATH 361A, which is a prove class, so I could pass with a C with little effort also. I will save MATH 361A in case he teach that class.

He is hard to understand, his test are nothing like the homework or lecture, he word thing so hard on the test. Easy B though, unless he made a mistake on your grade, I have seen this happen a few times, just file a complaint if it does happen when the semester is over, and be sure to keep all your testes and H.w.

He is old, but can still teach. He give you a A on the H.W AS LONG AS YOU TURN IN A PAPER W/Ur NAME. I was suppose to get a C even if I got an 0% on the final. He gave me WU grade cuz I didn't take the final, didn't even know I had to show up. Doesn't matter cuz I am going to drop outta of school to live off of the stock market (Big Crash Coming?)

Currently in his class. He is the nicest, most adorable old man ever. However, sometimes he seems to be having a bad day and I can't even describe how bad his handwriting is. He isn't the BEST teacher, but you can tell he was probably pretty good back in the day. Gives perfect scores on HW, amazing curves for tests. You'll get an A, no doubt.

Absolutely horrible!!! He seems like a nice person but he is completely worthless as a teacher. I have to use his class as a study period for other classes, because if I try to follow his lecture I become more confused. He has horrible handwriting, so you have to pay attention as he writes. He is sometimes unclear about some steps, but he does eventually get the problems right. He gives hw, but you get full credit for just turning it in. You have to do the hw and tests a special way or he gets confused. Very easy tests, and a generous grader/ curve.
