I had her for Art of Cinema and thought she did a sub par job, BUT this class made me re-evaluate her as a professor. The other class was a 200+ size, where this was 40+ students. So if the class is small in capacity, I think she does a better job.

The best teacher I had in the film program. Always very helpful and really knows her stuff. I learned how to be a much better writer becuase of her.

if you are interested in film stuff i mean its an easy class. BUT for real this teacher was horrible. class was boring, some movies were good, but she was just a horrible teacher. kept us the entire class every time.Her tests were difficult, just know that study guide. I hated her as a teacher,but she is nice. She can't grade correctly either.

Comment:

Easy class. Just watch movies, takes notes. Some discussion, which is fun and passes the time well. To succeed, watch the films and use the study guide, from which the test is made. Be warned, she used all 2 hours and 50 minutes of the class time, nearly every time.

When I took Dr. Johnson it was her first time teaching in an auditorium type classroom. She's very unorganized but her teaching method isn't bad. Good film choices, study guide before each test. DO THE STUDY GUIDE and everything will be fine.

Comment:

Art of Cinema should be an easy class and she makes it absolutely unbearable. She has no idea what she is teaching or what the material is. You never need to go to class as long as you read the book and online articles, and watch the movies, those are the only things on the test. There aren't many questions on what happened in class.
