Was an online class so not sure how the professor himself really is, but the two times I saw him in the exam rooms, he seemed to be a really caring person based on his words. He posted all the assignments in the beginning of the semester and provided helpful review sheets that without them, I probably would have suffered in the exams.

Professor Ozbilgin has been helping students to successed during this course. He was always responding promptly on our questions about homework, sending us informative emails and so on. I loved the course overall and, especially that's available online.

Since this was an online course, hard to say what Prof. Ozbilgin would be like as a prof in a classroom. Regardless, his voiceovers showed the depth of his knowledge and his replies to emails and assistance showed his dedication to the class. He makes the online course easier to handle than many of my inclass courses. I'd definitely take him again.

Connect Learnsmart and HW assignments, 1 midterm, and 1 final. The tests were all MC, but there aren't that many (12-16 Q) and you get 2 hours. The questions are more calculations and less conceptual. The practice exams are very similar to the actual exams. Go to the Discussion Board if you need help. If you put in the work, you will pass.

Lots of ppl said that this class would be so difficult, but honestly, if you do all the HWs and practice exams which he posts on BB, A is possible for this class. The midterm is 12 questions and the final is 16 questions, both exams cover the practice exams most likely, but some of the HWs as well. He gives us the bonus HWs before the final

Doesn't really do anything except grade the mid term and exam. You're basically teaching yourself with the textbook and Connect assignments. No lectures or supplementary notes by the professor. You can't even email him, as he directs all the work to the recitation professor.

Fully Online Pros: You go at your own pace & don't need to attend recitation. Cons: You go at your own pace (you need to have good time management & be strict with yourself). Advice: Don't freak out, just get things done ASAP. Do all your HW & go to tutoring center at least 1x per chapter. Get tutored 2x before each test. Don't need to read hw.

RUN!! Super hard exams for non-accounting students. Only covers 1-2 exercises in the review similar to the 12-15 in the tests. the fact that is fully on-line makes it so much more difficult. Do all the homework and you'll barely pass the class with some minimal luck in the tests.

Don't miss any homework because you CANNOT submit them late and it counts for 40% of your grade. The other 60% is based on the midterm/final. The midterm/final were all calculations. Majority of the questions were from the practice exams. But be sure to study the homework questions as well because some of these questions can show up on the exam

Class was not difficult per se, however it was a lot of pressure. 60% of your grade is based on 28 multiple choice questions. So if you get only a few wrong you are out of the A range. 90% of the test questions were the same as the practice tests just with different numbers. Questions were all numerical based.

This is an online class and almost everything is done on connect. The connects for the most part are easy. However the midterm and final are in person and completely ridiculous. Our midterm this semester was 12 multiple choice questions and our final was 16 multiple choice questions. No room for partial credit. Class is ridiculous.

Completely online class, with in class midterm and final. He took questions from the sample exam and connect homework, but some questions were more difficult than that. Didn't touch my textbook at all, only did practice questions to study.

this class was very doable. all the online hw's totaled 40% of your grade, and it was pretty easy to get all those points. The midterm had about 10 or 11 of the same questions (just different numbers) as the practice he gave us. The final had about 10/16 that was the same. SO honestly, you will be okay as long as you read the tb. ALSO,extra credit!

Although this was an ONLINE section, Prof. Ozbilgin does a great job on the narrated slides he posts on blackboard. If you do your HW on connect, study those slides and do the practice test before the midterm and final, you should be fine! The exam questions are very similar to the HW and Connect questions. His explanations on the slides are clear!

Unrealistically hard exams. Can't go to specific points in the lecture videos, can only watch from beginning to end every time. As non Acc majors the fact that we are forced to pay for this useless class secondary accounting class is dumb enough. Fully online makes this class harder than it should be. AVOID like the plague

10/12 of the midterm questions were the same as the practice questions documents he uploads ( numbers changed ) and about 10/16 on the final were from the final review. Not sure why everyone says the real exams are much different and more difficult. The class is all online and he is helpful on the discussion board on black board to help with hw.

This was an online class. 45% was the online hw and the other 25% was midterm and 30% final. Midterm and final were in-class and very hard! I recommend doing ALL the online hw to get that 45% so you have some cushion room when studying for the exams. There was also an EC hw offered at the end which helped a lot. Do it even if u have all 45% of hw

Material is tough, you need to devote a lot of time to it. One midterm, one final. He gives practice versions but the real thing is harder. Try to think of alternative questions for the practice material. Bonus homework at the end really helps/counts towards grade. The online portion counts for a lot, don't miss it.
