i love this prof. i was continuously entertained by his jokes and the pictures in his slides. Just make sure you go to class and do the reading, besides for that its a pretty fun and informative class.

Dr. Erickson is one of my favorite professors and I am almost sad to see this quarter end. He managed to make every lecture enjoyable, has a wonderful sense of humor and truly has the students best interest in mind. I hope that I am luck enough to be under his instruction once again.

had lots of fun in his class...It wasnt that hard but if you procrastinate then it will be. Study as much as possible. attend class always becuase of clicker questions and someties if you get em worng he lets you re-do them. the T.A are awsome. If you get PAT dont opt out of this class he may seem like an ass but hes very helpful

Make sure to do ALL SQ3R notes, always attend discussion and don't miss class ever because he has clicker quizzes everyday. Study as much as possible for exams, and read questions carefully as he does sometimes give "trick" questions. If you're willing to work hard you should do fine.

This professor is by far the best professor out there. He cares a lot about helping us and making sure we understand. The SQ3R notes aren't bad at all, you shouldn't be going to school if you don't plan on reading or taking notes. Clicker questions are easy and if you read and come to class, you can basically get a B on tests. And he is hot.

You have to go to class! He does clicker quizes and they are 15% of your grade. The tests are not too hard if you study, read, and attend lecture. His notes are AWESOME, be far the best I have had so far. The class is a lot of work, but worth taking.

If you ever have the terrible misfortune of getting this guy as a professor, then run. I was extremely lost during all of his lectures because he talks really fast and stutters, and he is a nightmare when it comes to quizzes and exams. Psyc 1 is one of the easier classes that you'll take in Psyc, but he managed to make it very hard all the same.

If you are not very good with biology, this class will be a challenge. Prof. Erickson is a very good professor. He makes you take and TURN IN notes, but in the end you'll see it will improve your grade. He's very funny and best of all gives you lots of extra credit, what else could you ask for?!?!I got a B+ in the class and only attended 10/20 lec

he seems to care, but the work load is alot. I did not do very well bc i didn't have time for the ch. notes, quizzes (in class), reading every single chapter word for word for the exams, and the group porjects. Don't take this class unless you have alot of time to dedicate to it.

the class material is hard (it's cognitive, so be prepared to learn alot) prof. is iffy, pos. is that he is very prepared & fair, neg. has tricky quest. for exams. there's a lot of work (clickers, posters, sq3r, online quizzes) but extra credit pts. might save you. take class b/c you have to, but if u can find another prof. by all means

EVIL-he makes you do too much work(ch notes,daily & weekly quizzes,poster,midterms,attendence pts, etc), that is worth too little pts(2% here, 5% there)makes getting an a impossible. he is rude & mean when you ask questions. makes you use clickers. doesnt care about his students. AVOID. also, hes very cocky and tells jokes at students expense!EVIL!
