Professor Yest is without a doubt the best finance professor I've had. He is extremely clear and engaging in class. He makes you work for it, but it was overall worth it. I feel like I've gotten a lot out of the class. Wish he could teach me the rest of my finance classes!

He is one of the nicest guys and really cares about his students. He is clear about his grading criteria, and his class notes help a ton. If you show up to class and do the homework, you can do well. Hands down one of my favorite professors at Tulane. Take him if you can!

Yest was by far one of the best professors I have ever had. The material is extremely difficult but Yest explains it perfectly, in very easy to understand terms. He's always enthusiastic about what he's teaching and he makes an excellent set of notes for every chapter that are amazingly helpful for the quizzes/exams. TAKE THIS CLASS!

I took him for cases in financial management. The class is easy (i'm a total slacker) but there are assignments every time the class meets and they are the most tedious things I've ever done. I'd only take it if you have friends in the class, lectures are the worst part of my week (extremely boring)

First do not buy the textbook. Second, Yest is by far one of the best professors EVER!!! He's very friendly , understanding and does a great job teaching. The material is very difficult but he makes it seem very simple. Thats a great sign of a great professor!!

I have him for investments. He's alright. Everyone at tulane sweats his jock , im in the minority on this but i think he's alright at best. Not a bad guy just dont like his teaching style. One thing for certain, he gives 80 page powerpoints that could be summed up in 15. its gets annoying
