He's one of the most helpful photo professors on campus. He's always willing to help you when you need it even if you're just passing by somewhere on campus. His class alone gave me the confidence to pursue a career in photography.

Hail to the almighty Miller! Seriously tho, he's a great teacher and just a great guy all around. He's funny, personable, helpful, generous, and genuinely cares about you. Taking this class was like having a good time, and you end up becoming good frds with him. If you want/have to take this class, don't miss Miller!

MILLER IS AMAZING!!!! He is a really great guy he cares about his students, and actually wants to learn about their lives. While he gives guidelines on assignments he still allows a lot of our own creativity. TAKE HIM IF YOU HAVE TH CHANCE!

MILLER IS THE BEST! He loves his students and wants them to succeed with flying colors! He is hilarious and one of the best teachers I have had at CSUN and one of the few who genuinely cares about his students. I wish he was my professor for all of my photo classes, take him you wont regret it!

SERIOUSLY, he's the best! I have always loved photography and he has been helpful, honest, and encouraging. My favorite classes have always been with him! He's blunt with you but also has a sense of humor! Other professors can't compare.

Professor Miller is one of the most amazing professors I have ever come across. He is extremely helpful, kind, talented, and inspirational. Any film photography course is very time consuming, and he warns the new classes this, and he really does mean very time consuming, but very interesting and worth wile at the same time. I recommend him!

ONE OF THE BEST PROFESSORS AT CSUN! I learned so much from this class. Projects are based on ideas and not so much technique. Really helpful and so nice! This class is really time consuming but it will go by quickly. Take this professor. AMAZING.

When I first contemplated changing my major from Biology 2 Fine art I sat outside the photo lab for hours to observe the environment. I watched many things that day, yet the 1 thing that caught my attention was Miller. I didn?t know who he was, or what he taught I just knew he had the eyes of an artist. He did what I was doing naturally... TAKE HIM

Professor Miller is awesome. I loved class. He knows his studio photography and it shows. He loves teaching students, and that shows too. It can be time consuming to complete all the projects. In groups, pair up with a worker and not a slacker. Slackers will take up all the studio time, then you won't have time to complete you're project.

Righteous teacher. Easy to get along with. Values creativity more than technical skill. I disliked the class because I have zero interest in film photography, but he made it slightly more bearable. Good professor if you are interested in film photography.
