Weakly: post a discussion by Friday, reply to a student, do a quiz. It won't take longer than 3 hours a week. Whoever doesn't rate this class the easiest ever, I feel so, so sorry for them. Weekly quizzes and forum discussions almost every week. The forum discussion requires you to answer questions, discuss topics, and give examples, so you really have to read the lectures if you want a good grade on them. Quizzes and exams are easy. If you do the study guide for the exam you will do just fine.

The discussion boards are long and you must put a lot of thought into your work. Offers 20 EC points if you visit a museum but the paper has to be well thought out and like over 1000 words. Quizzes are multiple choice and you can pull the info from the lecture.

Online art class taken over 12 weeks in summer 2015. Weekly reading of 150 pages, forum discussion, plus online quiz. You can skim the reading and still do well in the class. Extra credit opportunity is visiting a museum so you better not need it because it sounds like a lot of time. Overall, easy A + you might learn something interesting.

Professor Anderson is a wonderful teacher. She is helpful and enjoys what she is teaching. You will learn alot. Make sure you show up to class... It is alot easier doing the assignments when she demonstrates to the entire class than going through the step by step directions. Overall wonderful teacher!

This is the most boring class ever. Her "lectures" are nothing but youtube videos and her reading verbatim off a powerpoint presentation every week. Not helpful to students. A robot could teach this class.

She is very nice and helpful. Attendance is mandatory for the online class and it is a live discussion every week. There are 3 essays due and a quiz every week. Overall if you attend chat and do the work you should get an A.

i took this class online as well. i agree with the other comments. the chats are a waste of 2 hours. i spent more time preparing for this class than any other class i took. its easy to get an A in this class, BUT there are numerous lengthy essays. really took a lot of my time.. but im glad i got my A and did the work in bed! ;)

I took her Web Design class. Great professor. Patient, makes sure you understand her teaching, goes through material over and over willingly under students' requests, fun, easy-going, positive, open-minded, open to creativity. It's easy to score points in her class (via exercises, projects, other web-related activities..) and the class is fun!

This was an online class. Took a lot of time...I probably spent more time preparing for this class than any of my regular on campus classes. It was not too hard but the papers were not fun at all. It was a little more like an art history class than about modern art.

I took her class for WEB DESIGN. didnt know crap about Dreamweaver or Flash before her and hated it but learned so much from her class and went on to make my own photography website. grade consists of attendance, simple exercises that relate to 3 major projects that you will work on. 5 question online quizzs. great class

So-so class. Mandatory chats are annoying and useless. Essays seem to be mostly graded based on adherence to minimum length, without regard to content. Last half of class turns into an anti-consumerist diatribe with little reference as to the relation to art history. I'd recommend against this class unless taken during the winter semester.
