Comment:

I took her in Winter. She is funny and explains topic well however-she doesn't show up to class. She missed half the quarter then crams a bunch of stuff at you and demands you to remember it. Her final was questions she made up and thought you should know it. She is a funny and nice teacher but. she hates her job and doesn't mind telling you it.

Honestly, Professor Ladd is really funny and nice. I agree with others about not explaining things well at all. She wasn't clear and went off on a lot of tangents. Overall, I feel like she could be such an awesome professor if she knew how to better explain the concepts that she was teaching. Just needs more experience IMO.

I know now why professor ladd receives such low reviews. She is such an unclear professor : through the entire quarter I had to teach myself the ideas. I received very little feedback on my work, and the final paper was pushed back until the last minute where she let us figure it out for ourselves. I Would never take her again.

i loved her! i had her for my libs 360 and 410 class... i thought she was funny...and though it might have been hard keeping up on the reading..she knew how to write!!!! i mean you have to learn to take the criticism people! how else do you expect to learn...not only did she know what she was doing...she dressed cute! lol..just had to throw that in

Class lectures were insightful and she knows how to moderate good class discussions. But too many last-minute changes on syllabus! Bought a book that she decided we weren't going to read after all. Frustrating! She's alright but not as good as Prof. Sharp.

idk why ppl complain about this professor, i thought she was cool! She's very helpful and flexible as long as you have a valid reason. I had her for both 301 n 360. She wasn't as hard as many of you made her sound like. It's an upper division course so i thought the class was pretty fair.

I can't believe everybody bad mouthing the professor. If you can't handle her class maybe you shouldn't even be in it to begin with. We must learn most of the material on our own. She only guides us on the work that we must do. I do consider her class hard but that's college life. Not everything is handed on a silver platter.

I deeply agree with the other students bashing her. This women has a lot of personality problems. I don't know where she think she's so all that the way she runs her mouth even past the end of class to make herself sound smart. She's a big fat loser. Very lazy! Unprofessional and her clothes never fit! My suggestion: take somebody else for LBS!!!

LBS 301 is a tough course, there is a lot to learn in one quarter and Ladd definitely was able to cover everything. She is a fun professor, very intelligent, friendly and considerate. Overall, I enjoyed her class (not the subject!!!)

Prof. Ladd is alright. She is not so bad I got a B and started w/a D in her class. A lot of readings, a few quizes, mid term and final and one final paper. All LBS classes will be hard..so she wasnt that bad. I enjoyed her class.

actually she wasn't so bad. she just seems to need attention and we're forced to listen to her. she seems to know a lot and expects for everyone to be interested in what she has to say. if i had to do it all over again i wouldn't take her. she consumed a lot of my time outside the class!!!!
